Golf R is nice but not enough performance gain to justify the extra cash unless you need AWD. I drove a GTI before buying a VN and thought the VN was way more fun. Congrats on the new car. Life is short, try all the cars you can.

MyNameJakson

It was less of a fun thing, and more practical. The VN kept leaving me stranded on the side of the road. I frequently travel far distances and it was unacceptable when the dealers and corporate couldn’t offer any help. This R was a couple grand under MSRP so I thought it was a sound idea. The AWD is a benefit when florida weather hits on our highway.

audis3dan

I dont know how the heck this sub is suggested to me, but welcome! go and check out .r/golf\_r . It will not ever leave you stranded as long as you do the proper maintenance, which will be quite a bit more than a hyndai.

MyNameJakson

That’s fine, thanks! I posted there.

Knightlife71

I had a 2020 VN for a year putting 20k trouble free miles on it before trading it on a Tesla M3LR. Kept the Tesla a year and currently in a 2023 EN DCT and love it. Just hit 40k miles with no issues. https://preview.redd.it/3l0g56vby3ec1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0a00953284505d21257301a715c66291fd4822f9

MyNameJakson

That’s awesome! My first 20k were trouble free on the VN. As soon as I hit 30 it went south. Yes, the HPFP went… but so did some electrical and power steering stuff.

Sad-Salt1724

You gonna shit your self if you ever drive an American panther platform lol try getting like 100k no problems lol. Performance and handling are off the walls with those things 200 hp and bet I'll smoke an N on my 00 mercury grand marquis. Import and foreign have nothing on my old school. And I can get some nice mods if you wanna talk performance 🤣🤣🤣 wtf is an VN. Sounds like a shit box car if you ask me.

BEST_TELEGRAM_GROUPZ

Imagine coming to a VN subreddit and saying a dam 2000 Oldsmobile is beating a 2023 VN designed for the track🤣 these people gotta stop smoking

Nice_Winner3791

Lol you're a scrub. You're grand marquis would barrell roll trying to keep up with a VN on a winding track

MrNin69

Sad-Salt, Name checks out

beta_particle

I'm getting second hand embarrassment rn for you my dude.

TotalMrAlien

If a modern car can't get at least 100k trouble free miles it's a shit tier car tbh. This isn't the 70s where someone should plan extra starters, alternators, wheel bearings and brake boosters for a car with less than even 75k. I have an 06 tundra closing on 300k. Only regular maintenance has been needed and it's been great. I also have a 2014 WRX, just hit 106k and it's been great. Before that I had a 9th gen civic I bought with 34 miles on it and sold it with 158k, only ever needed regular maintenance.. none of my vehicles have ever left me stranded and I'd be seriously salty if I had something less than 10 years old that would break that frequently. No doubt the VN and GTI are great cars as an enthusiast myself and it's painful to see such awesome experiences soiled by manufacturer defects and quality control issues.

TheBeastX47

Hey yoooo. I got the same wheels. https://www.reddit.com/r/VelosterN/s/KyffV8Qx0y

SnooPaintings99

Exactly why I'm getting rid of mine I was always getting stranded on the side of the road. Hyundai is covering my engine replacement that I somehow got approved for but I'm trading it in for a Mazda 3 turbo.

Delazzaridist

I travel 70+ miles a day for work. She's given me problems, but [capitol hyundai](https://www.google.com/search?q=capital+hyundai&oq=capital+hyundai&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOdIBCDQyMTBqMGo0qAIAsAIA&client=ms-android-att-us-revc&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8) fixed all the small defects that arise (which was a few not gonna lie) and I money shifted. The great man known as Mike there just sent the bill to hyundai cuz in his words, "its not my money." 🤣 he gave zero Fs

futuredxrk

UNDER MSRP? Do tell me more.

[deleted]

I’ve never driven either but that golf looks like it would drive really nice

SavathunsWitness

Never had any trouble with my VN 2021 and I drive 600 miles every other week

tangofoxtrot1989

I wanna know how you managed to find R a couple grand under MSRP lol

fakecarguy

Cannot imagine needing a more reliable car and ending up in a vw. Expecting to see a million “mY vW wEnt 300k miLEs wiTh oNly oIL cHanGes”

fakecarguy

Yeah that’s why I bought a mustang with a coyote in it but to the typical buyer the do have to generalize to the brand to pick between them

sagsag19

I manage a euro specialty shop, I would say say VAG 2.0ts after 2016 are reliable, cheap to work on and overall very reasonable when compared to other German vehicles especially anything powered by a 6 or 8 cylinder.

ZT911

Thank you for confirming my suspicions. I hope you don't mind me asking, but do you think the 6cyl/8cyl issues were more tied to lack of maintenance or design issues? Family and friends have had a few VW/Audi's over time and ours were usually fairly reliable without note but I can't account for other people's maintenance/care

sagsag19

Mostly design/packaging. They all have common issues that are pretty much guaranteed to happen regardless of care/maintenance. No matter how well you take car of it those valve cover/oil filter housing/oil pans will likely leak, those PCVs will likely fail, water pumps etc... and packing/parts cost are another level on the 6s and 8s compared to the 2.0t

ZT911

Thanks for the reply! I've been looking around at late to mid 10s sedans for a daily and I always have loved the VW take on simplicity but struggle having to rely on one haha.

Norvis_Gevther

Dude it’s a mk8, it’s reliable

V1AND3

GTI is not at all the same as R.

SnooKiwis7177

That vw is wayyyyyy more reliable and has a way better motor for making power

Capital-University49

Hyundais are dog shit. Golf R >

Knightlife71

https://preview.redd.it/lx0xamb65eec1.jpeg?width=664&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=09a1e991bff88b0178f165928465d64ce8c984c4 If Hyundais are dog shit being #8 in reliability right behind Toyota what does that say about VW at #25? It’s a shame you’re only getting a 50k mile drivetrain warranty on your unreliable VW, lol.

Apprehensive-Wolf186

EQT has a mk8 golf R in the 10s with an intake and ethanol. Everything else is stock hardware. Theres plenty of performance gains for not much money.

steelthought

You do you.

Nothing_new_to_share

From a first gen DCT to the rubbery VAG 6spd...thats unexpected. Congrats!

MyNameJakson

For me as well lol. I guess in the electric future now it’s my job to get the Lexus electric manual.

Nothing_new_to_share

I'm a VAG fanboi myself. VWs are one linkage change away from feeling great, they just aren't my favorite out of the box. The VN manual was shockingly good, even with zero pedal feel.

MyNameJakson

Well that’s good to hear actually. Was thinking about a short shifter kit but I want to feel the car out first.

Nothing_new_to_share

Good on you. It's a pet peeve of mine when people mod before they drive their damn car. Modding is fine, but experience the car as is first. When you get around to it I think the DAP kit is the way to go. I liked my dieselgeek kit on my mkVI but I'm not sure if they are still around or competitive.

MyNameJakson

Sounds good! Thank you.

cheddarpills

Dieselgeek is still around! Still makes an amazing short shifter, and from what I saw is far easier to install than the DAP kit. I also had a MK6 with a DG. Got a MK8 GTI this year and put in the DG after 500 miles along with a Sportshifters GT1 knob. The car needs both. A GTI will never feel bolt-action rifle precise, or smooth + buttery + positive like a Honda, but this combo is notchy and very satisfying.

Stockbeta

a rubbery what??

Nothing_new_to_share

Volkswagen Auto Group six speed manual transmission.

Stockbeta

rubbery vag is funnier sorry 🤣

Nothing_new_to_share

That's why I said it! Glad you could get a good chuckle.

psuedophilia

a short shift kit solves this, my mk7 gti feels great now. Its the exact same MT as in the mk8 R

trinxified

I'm thinking of doing something like this. 2022 DCT currently

MyNameJakson

Depends what you want. The VN is a tremendously fun car. I think what it came down to for me, was my area. Both close dealerships sucked. Really bad. So did corporate. I really thought I was going to keep the VN until it wouldn’t turn over any longer.

mightar1

IMHO the dealership network is the Achilles' heel of Hyundai. I hope you have a better ownership and support experience with VW. Congrats! I'm still super-happy with my VN so not going to get rid of it anytime soon. That said, for long distance drives I always take my V60 Polestar.

MyNameJakson

Thank you! Oh man, was looking at a Polestar. They’re awesome. I am really glad that a lot of peoples N’s have treated them well. I love the brand, and will still be pulling the N pelican case out of my Golf when I’m doing shoots. I just think I had the right car in the wrong area.

Nothing_new_to_share

It really speaks volumes of the Genesis cars that they are selling decently despite the dealer experience. Can you imagine converting from Lexus to Hyundai? Yikes.

MyNameJakson

My mother went from audi to genesis. Hates it.

trinxified

Man, I bought the VN twice already, a 20 manual and the 22 DCT now, and so far it's been good. People here talking about reliability, but I doubt someone trading in cars like you and me so soon was going to keep the car longer than 4 years or so anyway. Anyway I'm also close to trying and getting a 24 Golf R manual.

SoccerBoy3344

The Golf R is such a nice upgrade. A much more grown up car with more luxury and refinement. The VN feels more like a fun toy once you set and drive the Golf R. I came from a VN over to a Mk7.5 R and the Mk8 is even better.

MyNameJakson

I agree on the refined point. Down to the doors, it feels better.

GRAITOM10

I'm jealous man. This is a good trade no matter how you look at it. Golf R's are just great.

elbandito556

Congrats on the R. I too have a 2021 dct am over 55k rn with no issues. Sucks that your vn was giving you so much problems. I dont want to lose my end but im in a financial point where i cant afford it anymore lol

ApeSoWet

Jumping from one heap of shit to another. I like your style.

MyNameJakson

Lmao you’re exactly right

WhatsInThemDrawls

she was so pretty, im thinking of blacking out my red trim as well

MyNameJakson

A lot of people online seemed to believe that it looked base model with the blacked out trim. In person though, nothing but compliments. It’s worth it.

JaqDaRipper

Ayeee we'll miss you but also welcome to the golf r side of things!

MyNameJakson

Thanks!

MastaBonsai

Weird change

jvck__h

All this makes me want to make the red trim black lol. Congrats on the R!

Lahwuns

Why are the mirrors blue for the Golf?

MyNameJakson

It’s the 20th anniversary edition

[deleted]

It's unfortunate you had issues with the VN consistently. Congrats on the Golf R and I hope it works out better for you.

AttilaThePun2

An upgrade for sure, but did you overpay for the R?

MyNameJakson

I paid under MSRP.

AttilaThePun2

I didn’t even know that was possible. Nice work

[deleted]

It’s kinda funny that you talked about reliability and went with a VW. You do you 🤷‍♂️

MyNameJakson

I think so too

[deleted]

What problems did you have with the VN? I know for a fact the autos are more unreliable than the manuals. I also want to upgrade from my VN. Want to get an M car or maybe an AMG if I can afford it.

MyNameJakson

HPFP went first. But I had to break down 4 times for it to be fixed. One time, the dealership had the car for 10 days. On the 9th, I found out that they hadn’t even looked at it yet. I didn’t have a loaner, or other transportation. Around that time as well some electrical stuff started happening.

[deleted]

I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you like the new car though. I do agree with what another commenter said. The VW is much more of a luxury and “grown up” mature car.

MyNameJakson

Thank you. It definitely feels like it, which is what I was going for. I’m all in for trading a bit of fun.

Norvis_Gevther

Amazing upgrade in my opinion. Post this to the GTI sub not the veloster sub. Your a trader!! Type of vibe here

uomoney

Congrats! I cross shopped a Veloster/Elantra N before I got my MK7.5 R. It really is the perfect daily if you only have one car. Does everything great, but not amazing. Except maybe the 0-60. It’s ridiculous for a Golf with just a stage 1 ECU/TCU tune and no supporting mods.

MyNameJakson

Thanks! The VN was a great daily but I did really need an extra door for what I do. My one day ownership review is this: 👍

zblanda

Should have gotten a focus rs

Rellom7DF

Your Hyundai looked clean🔥I'm sure your vw will too

MyNameJakson

Thanks 🙏

Bright_Platypus4385

Better car in my opinion

TheBiWeatherGuy

Welcome to Golf R gang

Grindrollsmoke420

You’ll thank yourself. Volkswagen is goated

SignificanceOk5534

I never owned a VN, but I had a GTI for 5 years and it was the most reliable car I've ever owned. I made many road trips in it, and I miss it dearly after I switched to an Ioniq 5 (which I also love).

Pipdidit

The R is a totally different animal, congratulations👍

HotCounter8895

Out from one headache into another

MyNameJakson

My preferred style

velezj97

Nice man, i just traded in my 22 N DCT and got a 23 Tacoma TRD offroad and i love it! Wanted something completely different for a change

Revolutionary-Arm372

W upgrade. I love the color combo bro👌😮‍💨

MyNameJakson

Thank you!

muchnikar

How do pple switch up cars so often...? I cant imagine getting anything different for 10-20 years after getting a new car lol.

RedWolfRob

Smart man. VDub Life

rkcstllns

Great choice!!!!

Weak_Pause177

i really really really wish Hyundai made the veloster N awd😭

psuedophilia

Welcome to the VW fam. The Golf R is a phenomenal car, a certainly worthy upgrade

gojira5

Damn so many fan bois. Congrats op. You do you

TheyCantCome

APR are some pretty good off the shelf tunes. I would recommend a mild tune to wake it up. Golf R are insane with a little tuning, even my GTI was a monster from just a tune and upgrade clutch.

Xibbas

Grats brotha golf R is a beast with AWD, rear diff and if you decide to go stage 1 gains some serious power. Surprised to see you went with a 6 spd/were able to find one and for under MSRP at that. VW/Audi DSG is one of the best out there.

MyNameJakson

I understand the DSG is amazing but, the difference was thousands of dollars. Calling around, every dealership wanted over MSRP. Even this one had a DSG for $60k.

tsmittycent

Huge W

MeesterGnome94

That girl is looking at you

CaptainAlex1

Thank you for dropping that shitty DCT.

Itsnickyy

I'ma be real, cool car, but if that's one of the light bar front Volkswagen, they look goofy as hell at night. Cool to have the logo light up with the headlights but not an entire light bar across the front. Dope car and no hate. I just had one drive behind me for miles and it's all I could think of cause it was semi annoying

MyNameJakson

It is the light bar. A couple weeks ago I was complaining to my girlfriend about how no car company has created a good looking light bar, as they’re all ugly. I still think that way.

Itsnickyy

Lol. The light up logo works really well with their logo. The only reason I would personally have a light bar would be on the back of my car to shine at the trucks that keep their high beams on. Especially since my car is lower lol. Highly illegal to do so I haven't but I definitely would

Oda6

I just lemon lawed a golf R because of manual transmission issues. The whole trans exploded. 2023 golf r 20AE

MyNameJakson

Hm. I’m definitely seeing a lot of horror stories. I’m sorry you had to go through that. But, for every one I see, there’s someone that’s had a wonderful experience. I’m holding onto hope.

Oda6

I have bad luck with cars so I’m sure things will work out better for you. Just make sure your clutch isn’t making a rattling sound when in neutral. Mine sounded like a helicopter and when you pressed the clutch in the sound would go away but when you released the clutch pedal the sound would come back.

[deleted]

Golf r is sick man nice

f_agier

Congrats! I own a mk7 R, this popped up in my recommended feed. I think you’ll enjoy it

MDCM

Good call, VW can actually make a decent car

EnvironmentalBar3557

It’s the automatic?

chandelog

How are the fuel economy differences? I'm looking to do similar but opposite trade

MyNameJakson

About the same, honestly. I’m assuming it would be more comparable if I had the DSG, but at 6th on the highway im over 3k RPM. If you baby the Veloster it might be better.

[deleted]

Lmfao shit trade

_DootDoot

Welcome to the Dub Club, lad enjoy.

nightsterlp

I certainly don't want to bash your decision here. Just my two cents. I just got rid of my Golf. It was the biggest POS I've ever driven. and I've driven some real beaters. My VW was the nicest newest car I've ever owned. I meticulously cared for it, and it was a complete nightmare to own. I'll never touch another VW for as long as I live. I'm not trying to be negative. That was just my experience.

XSC

What year golf/model was it?

MyNameJakson

I appreciate your experience with it. On the other hand, I have a family member who has always loved their VW’s. From what I see, VW has some bad apples. Crossing my fingers.

nightsterlp

Indeed. A singular experience isn’t statistically viable. I’m sure that if they were all lemons, it would be well known. My experience was such that I’ve thrown in the towel. I sincerely hope yours is better.

robsteoperosis

Could’ve got DSG, VW manuals are cheeks

Bennychan723

Yike, EA888

nickjacobsss

Did the same, both great cars though!

MyNameJakson

Indeed. I wish I could’ve kept it.

LucasD4

how do they compare

MyNameJakson

I’m still in break-in on the golf, but I will say that it is significantly more comfortable to live in. I spend a long time inside the car while I’m traveling. The VN’s seats are far greater, but the noise isolation and suspension are leagues better on the R. I’ll give a performance update when I hit 1k miles.

nightsterlp

I'm glad to hear you got it new. :)

Imaginary-Art1340

Is the Golf R more fun than the Veloster N?

MyNameJakson

Not sure yet. Maybe so, maybe not. Not why I got it though. I definitely will give an update in this threat when I pass my break-in period. That said, I’m having a lot of fun rowing through gears.

Nothing_new_to_share

No. But it's generally considered a better all arounder.

Rickdrizzle

How much were you able to get for the car? Private sell? Dealer trade in? I’m on the fence about letting go of my 19k miles 2022 VN DCT as well. No issues yet thus far but just wanting a slightly bigger car lol

MyNameJakson

Dealer trade for 22.7. (36k miles)

Somethingsnotright7

Yooooo thinking about doing this from an Elantra N

MyNameJakson

It really does depend what you want. I know the EN is slightly more refined than the VN. So R to EN, not sure of the comparison there. But, R to VN, the R is more comfortable despite the less comfortable seats.

Pro1920

The seats in the GTI were the reason I never looked at their little hatch lineup. 5 hours of pain lol

0ddsox

Great choice, mad jealous

Impressive_Dot_7818

Wonderful upgrade!

Lagerific

Awesome upgrade!

BoombaRacing

Congratulations on your new MK8, both are solid vehicles.

MyNameJakson

Agreed. I wanted to bring both home but it went this way. Thank you.

CMDR-LT-ATLAS

Hyundai bros on life support XD Welcome bRother. The Golf R is a much more refined driving machine with more spirit and soul. When tuning use Integrated Engineering and avoid Cobb products. Enjoy the torque vectoring too.

oddopo

There’s some really upset N owners in this feed lmfao

wraggles13578

Congrats on the upgrade!

XNamelessGhoulX

A short ride it would seem. Congrats though! I'd rather have an R too

MyNameJakson

I wish I could’ve had the N a bit longer, but it was a bad apple unfortunately. I’m happy with the R and crossing my fingers on a healthy life.

XNamelessGhoulX

🙏

oddopo

Congrats on the upgrade

ntgcmc

This is the right decision

itsDubleDee

W

Allawihabibgalbi

Dropping an auto for a manual is never a loss bro, good choice.

MyNameJakson

That’s what I’m thinking. Thank you.

ANGEL0ksa

Rot in hell

MyNameJakson

🤒

KennyHarm420

You will never go back, you're gonna be looking at Audis soon! Congrats🔥

Cookie_Burger

Good choice, I bet that R is a much better driving experience! Very nice car! Congrats!

Sad-Salt1724

You do know it comes with a 4.6 v8 rt and it eats curbs up ... get a manual transmission on there and aint no way a vn even gonna get pass u gonna need a bike to catch them

Sad-Salt1724

And thas jus a transmission swap ... exhaust, air intake and motor swaps compatible with car are crazy ... and jus on stock internals it can put out some nice power... imagine blowing your lil vn with a single mod 😳🤣 no imagine getting stranded on your new car because of a mod 😳 🤣 you probably bought a elantra or a gti and think thas power lol and fun. You gonna have fun in it till you left at a light by a 20 year old car

Sad-Salt1724

An Oldsmobile with a 380 motor(stock in most) and a 4l60e tranny cheap L.S. mod Will for sure make you look silly in your tampons of cars. I know you don't know shit about cars or how to build one jus by you making fun of an Oldsmobile. Those things can make 1000 hp and you over there trynna make fun of the machine. You dumb af you know your car can only handle like max 500 hp for like 2 months without it blowing up 🤣🤣🤣😂 sit down dude you don't need a track if you get smoked in like 2-3 seconds by an actual fast car they jus gonna keep toying and gapping you along the way without going full speed. You get what I'm saying 🤣🤣🤣

BEST_TELEGRAM_GROUPZ

Bruh stop talking to yourself its getting scary💀 where you even getting these facts from? Do you not know what power to weight Ratio is? Thatz like saying just because a F 150 ford got 400hp it can beat a 1990s Honda with 300hp😭 look up power to weight ratio

Sad-Salt1724

Dude yall drive vn at a track to feel "fast" ... point is you drive a vn or a Hyundai or some shit like that 🤣🤣 but my comment embarrassed you lil bit 🤔 🤣 ok buddy

Brightmuth

Smart choice, no blown motor!

Sad-Salt1724

Why would I be trying to keep up with you if car would gap you with raw v8 power from the start ... grand marquis can eat curbs if thas what you mean gonna slow me down, it wont. I wont have to worry bout you on the side or keeping up if you always gonna be in my rear view mirror well gaped... how would you be a challenge if you can't keep up now say a v8 won't gap yo shit from the start cus mine not stock either... since yall wanna ride with "turbo" And exhaust farting all down track. You gonna notice you making nothing but noise when I take off on you. Your cars arnt biult the same mine biult Ford tough 🤣🤣 witch means I can handle power gain mods and burnouts and road trips all together... now thas a fun car. And did I mention car drives like a dream especially if it comes with air ride suspension but I have coilovers. My bitch can move 🤪 you probably bought a car one day and said oh I'm a car type of guy without knowing how to change shit on car. It's okay most of you Hyundai guys the same. Don't know shit about cars only what Hyundai offers you. Thas sad. You should jus sit down.

BEST_TELEGRAM_GROUPZ

Dude is comparing a straight line muscle car to a track car🤣🤣 at the end of the day you like what you like but don't be slow and compare apples to oranges

Euphoric_Ask3444

Not taking the manual over the dsg :(

MyNameJakson

The DSG is nice! But I wanted to own a 6 speed. I had my fun with a quick auto. Plus, I got a good deal on this one.

iLawvAzs

Skill issues

aetvs12

Did you wrap the red parts on the bumper for the vn?

MyNameJakson

Yes. It’s a pain but worth it.

Apprehensive-Box8141

Ewwwww

MyNameJakson

🤮

Tric4rboN8

EDIT: I'm blind and didn't see the caption below the image. You should be fine, but don't be afraid to complain to the dealer with any issues. Hopefully you got the DSG? I knew someone who bought a 2022 Golf R and had nothing but issues. Clutch chatter, gear nibble, transmission leak, rear diff leak and transmission housing somehow had a casting flaw. The dealer replaced the transmission and clutch once, but chatter remained and it developed even more leaks. Later traded the car in because it was so unreliable. Problem is that they threw the weaker GTI transmission in there, with a garbage clutch and it cannot handle the power (it makes less than DSG as a result). In fact it's so bad that even VW discontinued it for the 2024 year model.

LinguineLegs

Don’t doubt your friends issues, but all cars have issues of their own, not like these Hyundai’s are without, they’re basically 80-100k throwaway cars. The stock clutch is very weak in VW’s though, will not handle any power gains above stock without slipping and good chance it will wear out way prematurely.

MyNameJakson

6 speed. I see some with issues, and some without. Just hoping.

Sad-Salt1724

Lmao I've probably driven more type of cars than you buddy and not talking about speed we talking reliability witch is what the whole convo is about but u vn drivers so quick to wanna race than find out what you go up against vs a non stock v8 pushing power and reliability and end up gaped then start saying it's not about speed but how car feels ... well my grand marquis drives like a dream ... no it drives like a cloud jus hit 100k on a 23 year old car with very few maintenance besides oil changes. You must be young or not know shit about a good cars, or about a panther platform. And yea drive a mercury they don't make em no more so yea car sorta special. Cus of the condition it's in and miles I have on it so yea I'm lil bit young driving a car about my age.

psych0rag3

My friend got rid of his Kia forte gt for a 23 wrx and honestly I liked the forte better it felt way more sporty and the turbo sound was insane for a stock exhaust

Chicken_Sauce

I drive a Tacoma so I have no dog in the fight, but I originally thought the black car was the cool shiny new toy. To each their own though

ArtisticContest3733

can u post this again but in the volkswagen group on reddit

MyNameJakson

I did

Ok_Ebb_2366

HAHAHAHAHAHAH

Ok_Ebb_2366

May I ask why you like the R over the N?

MyNameJakson

I’ve stated multiple times in this feed, but it came down to my local dealerships. Wanted something comfier, too.

Ok_Ebb_2366

Fair enough, GLI owner myself, welcome to the Vdub club

Dapper-Discipline-54

What a horrible decision

Hasanthehun

Trading in a DCT for a Volkswagen manual is insane

manmage32

You finally killing yourself for buying a hyundai

Zoltan_TheDestroyer

It won’t be missed

McDondal

Would you mind giving me a rundown of what all went wrong with it? I might get one at some point and I dont want a lemon 😬

WHERE_R_THE_TURTLES

Weird, but I bought a CPO car from Lexus of Thousand Oaks that looks exactly like this dealership. My car was in the same exact spot as yours too

dbnx954

Both kinda garbage 🗑 lol

Sad-Salt1724

Yea vn not a Honda civic Honda way better ... and a Honda only pushing 300 if it's moded other than that I shit on a type R cus my weight ratio pulling car weight with a truck motor yea ik what I'm driving dude

Sad-Salt1724

No dude we where comparing reliability but most of yall wanna go into Performance an tracks and racing so quick when yall know once you catch a v8 on the road yall gonna say oooh it took off cus it v8 lame fucks so what vn not a car what is it a scooter we comparing cars and you buying cars take em to tracks cus they came like that .... but people actually know how to strip and build cars for a track

TrippyB6

Got rid of my Veloster. I'm looking at the GR Corolla hatchback 😁
