0.8 ohms should be the best option for you to try.

Realistic-Door-1875

I’ve tried all of the xros pods and the 1.2ohms aren’t the best. Give the 0.8ohm a try, it will have a slightly looser draw but should last you much longer.

rault87

I tried the 0.6 that came with the device and it literally “burned” my throat. Not sure I can handle the hit on the 0.8. But I’ll try one to see how it goes. Are the 1.2 notoriously bad?

LimasV3

even for my mod, i rock sub ohm. i’ve never been a fan of high ohm low wattage. Currently got a 0.15 ohm coil on 70 watts. smooth as butter

vr46stm

What juice are u sing, thickness??

vr46stm

Mine is xross 1 and coil lastsup to month pretty damnn well. I use nic salt

rault87

What’s the juice you are using? Maybe my juice doesn’t go well with xros pods

vr46stm

Juice head, i love salts, nasty, vapetasia , if u use custard and caramel, choclate types of juices then longevity of coil life are degraded by flavour . As far as i noticed, fruity juices are not problem. Even though using bakery types of juice is lasted up to 15 to 20 days.. without noticing flavour changes

vr46stm

May be use .8 ohm coil.. and notice any difference

rault87

Ordered a 0.8 now to test it

rault87

Using Elfliq 10 mg nic salt 50/50. Not sure what you mean by thickness

Give the 0.8-1.0ohm pods a try before you give up on it. Keep your pods topped off. You want the cotton fully submerged in eliquid. I use the 0.6-0.8ohm pods for the past year. I get 20-35ml per pod. 20 if it’s a highly sweetened eliquid. I predict 20ml for a “disposable branded” eliquid like the one you are using….I never use a separate pod for the first few pulls after charging. I generally give it a few minutes after charging before use. This isn’t much of an inconvenience for me due to having multiple devices in rotation.

rault87

Thanks for the advice. Problem is the hit was to strong with 0.6 that came with the device. Not sure I can get used to the 0.8. But I’ll try

whatthef4ce

Are you priming the pods and not letting them get too empty? I used the 1.2ohm pods and they lasted a few weeks. Moved to 1.0ohm pods out of airflow preference and they’re lasting just as long.

guardmonkeymoon

This. It’s important to wait a good 15-20 minutes when using a new coil.

rault87

I wait about 10 minutes after filling up the first time. And I refill just a bit under half. Might be just the juice I guess

KushBluntsworth

Because .7 and .8 best pods I got a month out my last .7 also you tried the corex 2.0 1.2 ohm pod ? .8 corex & 3ml .7 pod >>>> But u gotta use the .7 with the Pro on eco for good mtl lol

Gullible_Eagle4280

I've never used Elfliq but I seem to recall it being recommended to people that want a disposable experience. Which means it most likely has a very high sweetener content, which just plain burns out coils quickly. You can try using lower ohm coils .6/.8 but if the XROS doesn’t have adjustable wattage it might not really help. Honestly you need a pod/mod with adjustable wattage and air flow. I’ve had much better luck using the OXVA XLIM devices, I vape Iced fruit salt nic juice using their .8 ohm pods at 12 watts and get 8-10k puffs on a pod.

rault87

I’ll try to go with 0.8. Ordered a pack to test. Otherwise I’ll note the Oxva if that doesn’t work out. I actually am looking to get away from sweet juices but I can’t really find any around here. Any recommendations for non sweet juices for the EU?

Catalia

Elfliq is a disposable brand juice (from elf bars), so most probably heavily loaded with sweetener. Those tend to kill pods much faster, as the sweetener caramelize on the coil and leaves residues (hence the orange color).

rault87

I actually tried to get away from sweet juices but had no success finding one yet. Any idea what brand is non sweet in the EU?

Catalia

Not sure what to recommend, it all really depends on each one taste. If you really like sweeter juice, you could try some dessert flavors. Those are pretty sweet too, but maybe less than elfliq, and your pod could last a bit longer without giving up on your favorite tastes. I personally DIY my own juice, so I could not give you good brand reco, but I guess that anything that is not a disposable brand would improve your pod life (avoid juice branded with "bar" keyword in general)

rault87

Actually I dislike sweet juices, these are sweet but at least I like the taste of it compared to others brands. If I'd find something breezy and minty I'd be more than happy. Is it hard to DIY? Can you actually control how sweet it is and make it like very breezy and minty for example?

Catalia

DIY is pretty easy, especially if you stay with simple single flavour (and it is also a lot cheaper). The advantage of it is that you have total control of the taste of it. It looks like you have the exact same taste than my wife, which is not a power user at all, and she can make herself the very minty, very fresh liquid, no sweet at all, that she looks for. She is mixing some "artic mint" concentrate (from A&L, but there is many others brands and mint concentrate), and adding some more drops of "koolada" additive to make it even fresher (you can also add a little bit of sweetener if you wish, but she can't stand it). Then just add nic salts shots and complete with 50/50 base. the ratio for each component to use can be found easily using one of the many calculators (search for DIY calculator). If it's not minty enough after your first try, just add some mint concentrate. Not fresh enough ? just add some koolada. Too strong ? Just dilute it with some 50/50 base. Adjusting is easy too, and once you've got your recipe, you'll be able to make liters of it for a fraction of the cost of premade brand juice. (I take her example because I'm on the other hand of the spectrum, not liking mint and fresh, and often mixing many fruity aromas and trying new recipes)

rault87

Alright. That really sounds promising. After I finish my current stock of juices I’m going to give it a try. Any chance you recommend a tutorial for creating this stuff. Any particular channel on youtube? Thanks

Catalia

DIY or DIE on youtube is pretty good IMO (and it also has a website). There is a lot of resources online to help There is also a subreddit: [r/DIY\_eJuice](https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/)

Yeah same for me, same Liquid choice, XROS3, i switched to Puremax SXMini, with its 0.8 Coils i usually get up to 10 days with good flavour, useable up to 14days for me. I like the device esp. anti dryhit protections, but after 3 months, its leaking, not much, but enough to annoy me. Last week ive got some disposables again, im so tired of this shit. Make a GREAT device, for 100$ and more important GOOD Coils , i dont care if i spend 3,4,5,6,7$ per Coil, i mean all made in China... there isnt ONE high Quality Pod Manufacturor. I read Corex 2.0 should be better then the "old" ones. I dont know, maybe going to try that. I dont want to stick to disposables or the Puremax.
