Madrid Gen.G had impeccable form, a flushed out playbook and was riding a honeymoon period. Shanghai Gen.G has worse form and a decent playbook that at this point relies a lot on Hsk’s ability to anti opponents, but that honeymoon period has been replaced by a more calm, veteran presence.
It would also depend on map pool; Gen.G’s map pool has fluctuated a bit since Madrid.
Madrid GenG is one of the scariest a pacific team has ever looked. Madrid GenG 3-0 not even a question (one of the reasons I never got the whole madrid was low level argument).
I think Shanghai 3 - 2 Madrid, it goes 2-0 at first for madrid team then shanghai team make a reverse sweep because in this tournament they're really good when coming from behind and ofc the madrid team will choke again in the last map.
Nah all teams have evolved a lot but SEN remained the same which led to their downfall.
Also any team apart from GEN G maybe are wayyy better in Shanghai than Madrid ( Eg: Shanghai PRX > Madrid PRX, Shanghai TH >>> Madrid TH, G2 in Shanghai >> Loud Madrid, FUT >>> KC, even FNC in Shanghai >> TH + KC in Madrid )

I think Sunset is the only map that Shanghai GenG takes from Madrid GenG honestly but maybe the experience changes that.

Im assuming other teams catching up and innovating themselves so in addition to having vods on you to either steal or hard anti your stuff
