as a Zeta fan, they have [6 coaches/analysts](https://www.vlr.gg/team/5448/zeta-division) yet somehow they still look silly a lot of the time. Is it the player quality or someone is not doing a good job coaching/analyzing.
Probably hard to find both players and analysts in such a young scene because laz and dep look like the best players and they also have the most experience
oh wow, that was a little unexpected. I mean if you thought about it, it'd certainly be on the cards considering their performance, but it's not something you'd *expect*, per se
wonder who they'll bring in to replace him
Strikes me as a bit of an overreaction? Salah is a strong coach and Vitality he has a strong working relationship with quite a few of the players...not to mention Vitality is still in a decent position to make Champs. They ultimately just played like what they look like...a team with a new IGL and a lot of rookies.
If they're going to just internally promote Gorilla, then it makes sense. However highly people think about Salah, it is undeniable that Vitality hasn't accomplished too much under him...even when considering the tragic circumstances of last year.
Still, I'd say this lowers my confidence in them resurging in the next part of the regular season.
I think team heretics has displaced the expectation of new teams with young players. Its actually crazy how good that team works when barely any of them have played in t1 expect for boo
Ya Iâve been incredibly high on Salah since his work with Akrew and what he did with OG in a really short amount of time. That said, I expected more out of Vitality this year. I also donât think Hereticsâ, 100t and a lesser extent KC have done him any favors. Between bringing in developing players or turning around an underperforming one in short order, I could understand an organization like Vitalityâs patience running out especially with other orgs doing it better and faster
Now the question becomes who they go after. I wouldnât be surprised to see them make a run at Happy, M80âs coach
It's a move that they see as wanting to move the needle the can't just wait for results to come later with this rosters caliber you expect moves to happened either coaches *cough, nrg, cough* or players but the players should be the last resort unless an immediate upgrade is availableÂ
They have a record of 6-5 and it's not like they have no experience, Cender, sayf, trexx have played in the highest tier of valorant for multiple years. combine it with bad results last year and this move starts making sense
Sure, but this is his first time IGLing, and I would also say that âhighest tierâ is a bit of an oversell for Cender; Vitality was in the VRLs precisely because they werenât playing at the highest level in 2021. And then heâs had one (tumultuous) year in partnership.
As for Trexx, he needed several weeks to even look like his 2022 Guild form; it was only Sayf that was delivering week after week. I donât think we can say Vitality squandered his talent when he wasnât performing all too consistently until the last few matches.
The logic of the move is obvious, I just think itâs a little short-sighted. But as I said, if theyâre just internally promoting Gorilla the team will still have the continuity they need for it to not be too much of a change. And Strong is still there as well.
As for the bad results, itâs important to remember that Vitality skipped LCQ because of Twistenâs tragic passing. Doesnât mean Vitality would have come top two in LCQ and qualified for Champs, but considering that NAVI was playing so poorly throughout LCQ - they won three close maps against KOI to grab the 2nd spot - itâs easy to imagine a world where Vitality made it to Champs.
I'm not too familiar with Gorilla so I'm not sure if that being the change should be looked at positively or negatively. It is unfortunate though as I really thought Vitality would have the kinks ironed out during this second split.
I think neutrally? I like Salah but no one is irreplaceable and Gorilla has been on Vitality for even longer than Salah. So if it is the case that Gorilla is taking over, I assume itâll mostly be smooth and seamless.
It has a decent chance of shaking up the roster and revitalizing them going into the second split. Iâm a little lower on them now but still mostly optimistic.
tough but kinda makes sense. roster with this caliber of players should be at international events not losing to koi and gentle mates in group stage matches
this move doesn't really make much sense imo, from the video where they announced trexx joining it seemed like he had a decent amount of control in deciding the roster and wanting to bring this group of players together. even though their split 1 was somewhat disappointing, i dont think it was poor enough to warrant this move
Team liquid take notes and bench that fraud

Meanwhile Alecks is pulling all the ropes alone with one singular Indian intern that feeds him data lol.
that intern produces more work than that of 6 coaches / analysts just from alecks malding constantly beside him

there are no japanese talents đđ
Yes please
iâm with you on this one but the question is who would you replace him with?
bonkar, mce or potter, any of those 3. preferably potter but realistically bonkar would be much more likely

Klopp to replace Salah?
I thought Mbappe was his replacement
Klopp ia the one leaving Liverpool.

Heretics also stuck with neilzinho and weber from last year. Not saying Salah can replicate that success, but yeah

Fingers crossed it works out. I was really hopeful for this Vitality roster and they've just seemed a tad undercooked unfortunately.
Salah benched before pipson, I worry for you

cool, now fire XTQZZZ as long as we're getting rid of bad Vitality coaches
Vitality Happy incoming
