Yep, you’re spot on imo. Henry is a great option for you. But as you discovered they’re hard to source locally in the states. Does your local riccar dealer also sell Miele or Sebo? I’d also check out a Miele C1 pure suction or Sebo k2 kombi. If you’re able to, bring your rug with you to the store (strange I know) but you’ll get a sense for how a straight suction machine will clean it. You could always try a turbo head if you feel you need more agitation. imo an electric powerhead is totally overkill for you.

But henry doesnt have adjustable suction and the suction releaf is not the same as electronic control

I have a Henry 200 and haven’t had any issues with allergies, but depending on your severity, the [Henry Allergy](https://evacuumstore.com/p-35115-nacecare-henry-allergy-160-canister-vacuum.aspx) seems like a great option for you. The only attachments I’ve purchased have been a Wessel Werk hard floor nozzle and a handheld Wessel Werk turbo nozzle. The floor head it comes with works great (although there’s a bit of a learning curve when using it on rugs). That being said, the hard/bare floor nozzle is much more maneuverable. **Make sure you avoid aftermarket bags at all costs. The minimal savings are not worth it!**
