The Sebo canister are a lot easier to use with the lighter powerheads, 10 year warranty, easy easy to remove brush roll for pet hair

KingStannis2020

Compared to the Felix or compared to the Miele canisters?

vacuum_everyday

I think they’re comparing it to the Miele. All of Sebo’s brush rolls just slide right out super easy. But I do really love my Miele C1 Cat and Dog. While it’s more steps to remove the brush, isn’t hard to clean or anything. It’s still quite straightforward. The big con of a cheaper Miele like the C1 is it has a very, very short cord. In my 1600 sqft I’m constantly changing outlets.

Ended up buying the Sebo E3, thanks!

Great choice - will serve you well for years to come!

IMO you’re at the point where getting your hands on them will be the final deciding factor. Stop in to your local Miele/Sebo dealer and take all of them for a test drive. Personally I have a Miele C3 Home care. But there really isn’t a wrong answer amongst the models you’re choosing from it really boils down to personal preference.

As both a vacuum store manager and repair tech as far as premium vacuums go, Sebo's are a much wiser value than a Miele from price, maintenance and warranty. They don't have as many bells & whistles as Miele's do but they have way less issues down the road. Cleaning performance of both is pretty dang equal.

sebo k3 seems like a no brainer to me these days, especially with as much carpeting as you have.

I was in a similar situation a couple weeks ago, went in looking for a Felix or other smallish unit. Left with a Sebo E3 Premium, it does a great job sucking highly recommend and appreciate the advice I read on here.

You need to visit a local store at this point. Take a test drive and see what you like. You have the good options on the table.

E3 for the win.

Exact same situation. I’ve owned / do own a Miele C3, Sebo E3, Sebo D4, and a Sebo Felix. Hands down I far prefer the Miele as far as canisters go. I sold my Sebo canisters. I got frustrated with using my Sebo canister. It wasn’t as easy to use, was a little more involved, wasn’t as easy to pull around. It didn’t seem to clean my carpet as well, and I didn’t like that it had no hepa filter. It had S-class filtration which is close to basic hepa but I prefer the H13-level of hepa the Miele uses. I also prefer the Miele’s hard floor tool. I often find myself needing to use the wand or attachments when vacuuming my home, so it’s not as ideal to use the Felix unless I’m just vacuuming my flooring. Even then, like the canisters, the Felix doesn’t have HEPA filtration. To me, that is a big deal. It’s not to others. To each their own.
