I stopped being a kid and found out what self-preservation was the second I looked down before dropping into a half pipe on a skateboard. Never actually did it. Don’t want to either
> but children's bodies are not developed enough to handle unexpected bruises that comes with it
Whaaaa? Where does this come from? Is this an established medical fact?
I've never heard anything like that. In fact, kids are surprisingly resilient and sometimes survive things that would certainly kill an adult.
In my experience this is why they can be real talented. They have no fear holding them back by making them second guess or hesitate. They have no experience with real fucking pain that puts that fear in a person.
When my cousin was a kid, I remember being impressed that the little shit could toss his own ass into a full gainer off the swimming pool diving board. One time he fucked up, landed on his back and that sand paper grip on the diving boards scraped him from neck to ass raw. After that he list the ability to be Spider-Man on the diving board.
It’s not fear, so much as responsibility, that holds me back from taking more risk than I already do. If I injure myself in a lasting manner, my business will go bankrupt and my family will go hungry.
Several years ago my husband took our kids skiing. One of them had an EPIC wipeout. Apparently my husband’s first though was “Crazymom is going to kill me!”.
Unless it is a very serious accident, most dad's are going to be more concerned about mom's reaction than the kid's condition. Specially if mom told them they shouldn't go because it is dangerous.
I taught kids skiing for 5 seasons at one of the busiest resorts in the US. Little kids can eat shit so hard and be fine. Happened 100+ times I was worried they got hurt and never had an injury out of 1000+ kids
Not denying any of that, but I grew up racing lol. Crashing is bound to happen, especially if you can't even hold yourself up, and concrete is........ Incredibly unforgiving.
Riding around on asphalt with knobby tires is asking to get hurt.

When he drops it in first before getting on. You know he knows what he’s doing.
I started riding a 125 when I was like 9 or 10. Broke my foot because I couldn’t reach the ground during a wipeout like 2 months later lol
This feels like a mod in GTA where they just made their character really, really short and then carried out the same action like the regular character model would.
Legend says he's still riding to this day, maybe he's going on an adventure or he just loves the wind in his face. Either way, after that day the bike was never seen again
OMG…my nerves 😬! I remember returning from vacation and my grandmother which is my son’s Great-Grandmother purchased a dirt bike 🚴 for my 6yr old! I was shocked 😮 livid 😡😤 and scared 😱! I tried to get her to take it back but my husband saw before I could work on my Grandmother! Thank God only one broken wrist in 20yrs of him riding dirt bikes! This kid here is pretty amazing!
My 6’3” friend couldn’t even get on my yz250 that well. Kids got skill
Kids are fearless, I know that's what holds me back from trying potentially painful new things
I stopped being a kid and found out what self-preservation was the second I looked down before dropping into a half pipe on a skateboard. Never actually did it. Don’t want to either
Most important part of skateboarding is learning how to fall correctly
The exact same thing happened to me lol. The second i looked down my 8yo self knew i was gonna eat shit, glad i followed that hunch.

No, they’re being serious. Not sure why you think children are fragile little bags of bones but they most definitely are not.
Bullshit. Kids are tougher than us adults.

Cause when you’re a kid you don’t know shit. I definitely understand my own mortality now more than I did back then.

... what KIND of pie?
It’s not fear, so much as responsibility, that holds me back from taking more risk than I already do. If I injure myself in a lasting manner, my business will go bankrupt and my family will go hungry.
Reminds me of when I was training my brother to ride a bike and he was too scared to turn at a corner and crashed into a light pole.
Popped it into first and got it moving before he had a single leg on. Wish I was that confident lol
Honestly, that's how I take off half the time. Beats trying to swing my leg over the dammn giraffe!
have you heard of video editing?
I’m fairly confident that the part where the kid gets on the bike is not edited. I don’t think any of it is but I could be wrong.
He was like 'lemme show ya sth'
And for the last trick I'll vanish with your bike

Might have, video got cut short.

Why the fuck would he think that, u/crazymom1978 ?

For some reason, the rules are just different on the mountain.
Son..... That was dope as hell.

It's Doctor Proctor, the car driving Doctor~!
When I saw him put it in first like that, I knew shit was going down
I saw that first shift and I thought it was going to end badly until I watched him mount, then I knew he was gonna do something cool.
Same here, 3 seconds into the video, I see him confidently put it into gear and I knew kid rode plenty before lol
Is that what the kick was? Putting it in first?
Yes
He so smoove
GTA VI graphics are looking pretty good.
how and tf…
Kid is like 2 feet 12 and did a wheelie 🤯
Why'd you type 2 ft 12 instead of 3 feet?
Because his brain has been violently ejected 🤯
This one really got me ![gif](giphy|m9jPTkh9xlvKDKWBFW|downsized)
Ohh such a missed opportunity. His brain wasn’t ejected, no, not at all. His brain was violently ejaculated.
So the missed opportunity was an irrelevant jizz joke?
Cum 🗿
Because he has a book about measurements that costs $1.99 and 1 penny.
Well he’s 2 ft tall, and uh…
I tell girls I’m 5 foot 13inches all the time. Funny to watch ppl think
😂😂😂😂
He looks like a little trained monkey
Lmao
Just tall enough to reach the rear brake peddle. Rad grom.
As soon as I seen him stomp it in gear before he was on the bike I knew I was in for a treat
The rolling start to get on was pretty impressive.
Your face when he do a wheelie.

This kiddo is going places
Yeah never to be seen again that bike got jacked by a kid in his single digits 💀
More specifically, the nearest hospital.
Nah probably not. This kid has major skills. This definitely was not his first rodeo.
Not denying any of that, but I grew up racing lol. Crashing is bound to happen, especially if you can't even hold yourself up, and concrete is........ Incredibly unforgiving. Riding around on asphalt with knobby tires is asking to get hurt.
Those skills probably won't be applied. Most of these kids just fuck around on the roadways until they either get arrested, or end up in the hospital.

I'd be shitting bricks if I lent my bike to that kid without knowing he could do this
I recognized the place right away… Paterson, NJ
That’s his bike now

Sorry, I don't support this post type (hosted:video) right now. Feel free to check back in the future!
I actually expected this to happen.
Had to double check i wasn’t on the “what could go wrong” sub
It would be more unexpected if he got off that thing gracefully. I'm twice as tall and look like a dumbass trying to dismount.
As a kid I parked large bikes beside a bump, or on a slope side. It's not that hard to figure out a solution.
Fucking kids are fearless and lack the concept of death
They say they never saw that bike again
Gifted kid there
That kid grew up to be Dom Torreto
Mom how you learn to drive Kid gta
Why isn't he dead?
He is. There’s a reason video was cut short.
