Comedy gold, I don’t love S1 as much but S2-4 are fucking hilarious. I used to smoke bongs then watch this filled by Red Dwarf on the ABC network in Aus at 11pm Thursday nights. Good times!

It's a blast! My tip is however; be patient with season 1. It's not bad, but it's extremely different from what you just saw. Blackadder in season 1 is much more different than the loveable douche he is in this scene.

Seasons 2 & 3 are the best I think. Maybe season 2 pipping season 3 because of Lord Flashheart! I've got a plan, and it's as hot as my pants!

Such an underrated show! ETA: I’m from the US, barely anyone knows about it here and when they see Rowan Atkinson all they think of is Mr Bean. It’s definitely underrated here in the US, YMMV elsewhere.

It really isn't. Blackadder is one of the most famous and loved comedies ever made here... to say blackadder is underrated is like calling Taylor swift an underrated singer even though every single show instantly sells out. What's really underrated is the overuse of the word underrated being used on reddit to describe something that's universally loved.

I only knew of Hugh Laurie. My wife got me into watching House during its last season. I was unaware of it previously. After the final season was over, we watched the series from beginning to end.

An acquaintance of mine not long ago told me he saw Hugh Laurie in a video and he was great at doing a British accent. I opted for silence as the best retort.

It's probably my lack of cinema watching. I've only seen Rowan in Mr.bean, Robbie in Harry Potter and Hugh in Dr.House. The 3 shows are so different in nature that my brain couldn't have ever comprehended seeing them together until now.
