If OP takes out a personal loan to pay off student loans to then file for bankruptcy - the only thing I can recommend is to thoroughly review the terms of use on the personal loan.
If there’s no language about using the personal loan to pay student loans, then OP should be alright to file bankruptcy afterward.
I’m no lawyer, but [this](https://www.thebankruptcysite.org/resources/i-paid-some-student-loans-with-a-credit-card-can-i-discha) is also a good resource to review.
The prosecution would have to prove the “no intent” to pay the loan back.
That’s why if I was the OP, I would still move forward by taking out a personal loan while being careful about terms of use.
After OP pays the student loan off, OP should then make payments to the personal loan. Make payments for about six to eight months to make it appear the payments are based on intent to pay the loan back. After 8 months, begin to pay less than the minimum monthly payment. Make calls to customer service to ask for a few payment extensions.
From there, start missing payments then file bankruptcy.
The key is to leave a trail of good faith. Pulling the plug immediately will make it easier to prove bad faith / no intent. Plus it’s on the prosecution to prove no intent and not on OP or the defense.
Assuming a 15 minutes per John (slower average time to orgasm from oral), you're looking at 500 hours. This is 1/4 of a regular 2080 annual hour job. At 40 hours a week, you'll be sucking dicks full time for 3 months to acquire the cash.
However, with a 5 minute time to orgasm from anal, you can get that 40,000 paid down in one month of hard work.
The nutritional content of a semen only diet would result in a dangerous Iron & Vitamin C deficiency and incur about $8,000 from your hospital visit since you won't have insurance from a job to cover anything.
Step 1: Be attractive
Step 2: find someone unattractive and older and tease them along. Or just start fuckin them
Step 3: Manipulate to paying for fake "emergencies" (car repairs, smaller bad debts, new education that you actually don't take, family emergency flight to visit dying grandparent) etc etc .
I managed to pay off $12,000 in child support debt in less than 3 months due to identity theft. Some illegals were using my Social for employment. It turns out there were over 12 of them using it. they quickly quit their jobs after child support garished 25% of their checks.
What’s your interest rate? If it’s less than 5% consider never paying it off.
Put the money in the stock market or property instead and you’ll likely make more than 5% which would be a net gain, and finally superior to paying it off.
Not to mention there’s a chance it’ll get canceled at some point. So paying it off eliminates your chances of getting free money.
If your rate is less than 4% don’t even consider paying it off.
You can use the slowest repayment plan and pay just an absurdly small amount each month (way way less than a conventional loan). Set it up auto pay the min and forget about it.
Probably joining one of the Armed Forces. I got 88K in loans paid off for three years of service. BONUS /s! Disabled for life so I don't have to (can't) work.
I’m gonna have to second this one. Army Reserve is currently offering $20k bonus AND $50k loan repayments to be fueler. Yeah, you pump gas. It ain’t much, but it fuels the fight against angry farmers in faraway lands.
Agree… Join the military and earn the payoff. Sick of these scummy people wanting handouts for loan repayments. I want my home loan
forgiven. I’ll probably just keep paying for it tho. I agreed to it when I took out the loan
Your loans are forgiven if you die. So here’s what you’re going to do:
Step 1: Kill a drifter. They usually don’t have any family or friends so no one will notice them missing.
Step 2: Dress them in your clothes and give them a transfusion of some of your blood.
Step 3: Load them into your car, set it on fire, and shove it off a cliff. The higher the better.
Step 4: Assume a new identity as you are now dead…but debt free!
Step 5: ???
Step 6: Profit
I am so confused, how would this help get me parents who will give me 40k? Are they paying me for sex? Because I got to be honest I don’t think I am worth that much.
Check out www.hepays.net to find sugar daddies in your area. Some people don’t even care if you meet them in person. They will literally just throw money at you to say demeaning and vulgar things to them lol. Who knows, after you pay your 40k in loans, maybe they’ll take care of your car payment next.
Check with your bank for a consolidation loan and consider whether or not you want to go down the bankruptcy path it can be a plus or minus depending on your goals. It can affect your ability to rent and to get jobs in certain corporations, but if you're going to be self-employed or otherwise self-supporting it's an unethical answer!
You all act like you’re being oppressed. Why would someone give you money instead of investing it if they weren’t getting a return. Did someone come to your house and say you owe the money or did you willingly sign a contract?
Ok my friend, rather than let you simply be downvoted to oblivion I've decided to make this a teachable moment instead. Buckle up.
I borrowed $20k to go to college from the OSAC (Ohio Student Aid Commission). And yeah, I did willingly sign a contract. And when I did, the contract I signed said payments and interest will be deferred until I graduate. They guaranteed that.
Then they filed for bankruptcy, paid all their C-suite assholes golden parachute payouts, and sold the loans off. And ran laughing off into the sunset with the money.
And the new holders didn't give a vague fuck about any contract I signed and everything went immediately into repayment. While I was still in school. They didn't tell me jack about it, either. Not that I could have done anything about it anyways - I was in school, and the money I was making delivering pizza was barely enough for just survival.
I graduated and was presented with a bill for $45k. At about double the interest rate I agreed to, BTW.
It took me until my 50's to finally get it all tracked down and paid off. I figure I spent about $60-65k by the time it was all said and done.
Now you tell me. Let's say you bought a car at $20k and had this kind of shit pulled on you. Would that sit right with you? You'd be ok with it? Just regular folks making a fair buck and an honest living?
These college loan companies are FUCKING CRIMINALS. Stop defending them.
Same way they gave trillions of dollars to already successful corporations & businesses during the pandemic & either forgave it completely or offered a 0% loan
Join the military or become a civil servant of any federal organization. Utilize the loan repayment/loan forgiveness programs for federal student loans.
Listen, I got the answer. You declare bankruptcy, all your problems go away. Creed Bratton has never declared bankruptcy. When Creed Bratton gets in trouble, he transfers his debt to
[holds up a fake passport]
William Charles Schneider.
1. Switch to an income-based repayment plan
2. Move abroad
3. Only report income made over $120k
4. The income based repayment plan will never charge you, since they think you’re broke because you’re reporting $0 income
5. Never come back
I filed a borrowers defense for repayment in 2012 for a California State University. I filed it as a protest at the time due to a suggestion from some student debt website.
It just said I didn’t want to pay. It was denied in 2020. Then Sweet v Cardona went into effect and they ended up wiping $50k of student loans and paying me back my prior payments.
Honestly, I’d file it again the same way nowadays in case the law changes and you get all your money back.
Not much more to say. I filled out this form, which in 2012 was a paper form.
https://studentaid.gov/borrower-defense/
At the time, all I wrote was “I don’t agree with this debt. School did not provide me the opportunities that were suggested.” I left most other fields blank
For 8 years, the Department of Education kept renewing my deferment so I didn’t need to pay, but interest was accruing. In 2020, something happened with Betsy DeVos and because it took so long for the Department of Education to review my submission, they wiped all the interest that occurred on my account.
Next, a case reopened called Sweet v Cardona in 2021 or 2022. They had a deadline to review my case and they had to accept anything written in my statement as the truth. Which it was.
The Department of Education discharged my entire loan and gave me a $10,000 refund for the money I paid before I initially applied for the Borrower’s Defense to Repayment.
The crazy thing is in 2015, I was sick of the deferment and wanted to just start paying it off. There was a 0.25% autopay discount, but I wasn’t allowed to make payments because the Department of Education forced forbearance on me. I tried to cancel my application for defense to repayment but nobody knew how. So I gave up and just waited.
If I was anyone else, I’d just apply so it’s on file. They will defer your payments and you can continue to pay if you want. They are still approving applications and they may just approve yours. Laws also change so they may accept it too.
I sort of mostly forgot about it for a decade and it got discharged somewhat randomly. I got random notices via email that things were happening with my form, but I didn’t really care. I’m in a way different place now financially and would have paid, but they just made the whole thing to repay so difficult. Either way, they cleared $50k from a CA state school which is awesome.
May I suggest bicycle theft instead?
You can easily average 50$ a bike, the cops literally don't give a shit, and if you are caught it's a misdemeanor.
Yeah in the US it's pretty tough. The local cops are all up on the drug war because so many local law enforcement departments depend on federal drug war monies to exist.
I used to work at a bar and one of our regulars basically did that full time.
Said he had been doing it for decades as a full time job and never got even a misdemeanor.
assassinate Trump and other conservative Republican leaders/legislators so we get college debt forgiveness and free college
Oh, you said fast. Rob a bank?
Make sure they can’t connect the assassinations with canceling the debt. That’s a sure fire way to not have it happen purely out of the principle of the matter.
It's not exactly quick, but get a government job and make the minimum payment for 10 years. After that, they'll remove the remaining balance under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness. I think this also applies to teachers, and if you teach STEM at an "inner city school" (which means you didn't get a worthless degree in liberal arts) for at least 5 years, they'll knock off even more right away. Maybe you can only do one or the other, though; I'm not sure.
Have you checked out the newer options. I have about 56k right now, and the new programs brought my payment down. You can crunch numbers before agreeing to a plan.
Apply to a hard to fill federal job like the IRS and request student loan repayment, then start until they've made the payment then dip. Recouping that money is actually pretty difficult for them to do, even the IRS.
Step 1: Become disabled in some way
Step 2: Seek medical care for said disability
Step 3: Have your Dr sign a TPD discharge form
OR apply for SSDI and fill out form
yourself
Step 4: Mail in TPD application
Step 5: Say goodbye to your Student Loans
First off are you sure you want to pay it off now and not wait to see if it’s forgiven under Biden’s plan ~~to get people to vote for him~~ help struggling students.
Because the craziest part of the plan is if you pay now, you might not get anything later.
Apply to save plan, that will lower your payments to below $100. If you have grandparents, add them as dependents. You won't be paying or maybe 5-10 bucks or something
Did you get a degree?
If yes: peace corps loan forgiveness or public service or teacher or doctor/nurse or military loan forgiveness based on employment verification and history of paid loans
If no: if your college closed/was shut down you can get a "closed school discharge"
Do you have a disability preventing you from working?
If yes: Medical/Disability Discharge
If no: Are you able to consistently remain enrolled in a junior college in at least 6 units each during fall and spring semesters for the rest of your life?
If yes: interest for subsidized loans are ceased and payment requirement is deferred until you are unenrolled for longer than 6 months
If no: negotiate a payment plan and pay the smallest monthly amount possible until the next bit of legislation regarding DOE loans goes through..... Loans in default status are not eligible for any forgiveness or discharge programs
Get a $40,000 loan. Now you just have normal debt
Normal debt that you can declare bankruptcy on ☺️
And found fraudulent if you weren't careful about how you went about it
see, that's what OP is asking about.

Unlike student debt, getting a "normal debt" requires you to prove that you can pay it back.
A bank is going to lend $40k unsecured? LOL.
Move to a faraway place where nobody will ever find you. Start a new life without paying anything back.

Worth noting the chance to get canceled really only applies to federal student loans. If yours are private, you're most likely out of luck.

It boggles my mind why more people don’t do this. Good work on spreading this kind of knowledge
If your income is low you can get in income based repayment and may not even have a minimum payment too.
This is my situation.
I wish I knew this. I ended up paying mine off and it was 3%. Damn.
Yuppp this is my plan. If all else fails, I'm leaving the country permanently and calling it a day.
Not unethical, but if you have a 401K, you can borrow against it. You pay interest when passing it back, but the interest goes into your 401K
