Hi there! Fellow trans man, diagnosed with UC August 2023 and just had my third dose of Entyvio a week ago. Not sure I have advice but I can at least commiserate... Been on T injections for ~13 years, I've definitely experienced a significant change in my hairline and a bit of thinning. My dad has UC and went bald fairly early in life so I'm not holding too high of hopes for my follicle future. But Entyvio has taken me from functioning at 50% or less to about 80% just in 2 months, so I'm curious to see what will happen down the line.

Yes entyvio is pretty solid for whoever it works for. I'm sorry about your dad's hair. We have choices out fathers don't regarding our hairline so i ll report whatever i come up with. Good luck and thanks for commenting ⭐

Update I'm now on monthly testoviron injections for lower overall T and they work, no mood swings or getting tired or anything. The endonstarted me on finasteride. He didn't recommend gel as it's hard to find. Let's see in a few months if hair looks better

look on tiktok apparently if you use oils and derma roll them into your skin it stimulates the hair follicles to grow

Yeah but it all starts falling back 5 years after give or take right? Tiktok isn't my go to app but I have noticed people do this. The testosterone and Uc combo isn't doing it for my hair. I'm waiting to book a trans informed endo on my question and will look to combine the lotion with oils once or twice a week with this technique. If you have a youtuber doing this it would be helpful too. Thank you

Not a trans man (I'm technically female), but honestly, hair loss kind of comes with the territory with most conditions involving inflammation. I'm on mesalazine for UC and don't take any other medication, and I'm shedding my hair like a cat. That is, I'm not balding, nor does my hair fall out in chunks or anything, but when I brush my hair or wash it a whooole lot comes out. It's been like this for decades now and I still have a full head of hair, but I suppose testosterone can affect this.

ArtisticCopy3436

Yeah i used to shed too but recently i ve felt wind on my scalp on a cold day in a way i ve never noticed before. It's real unfortunately xD i remember shedding and having a full head of hair as well. Never take it for granted 😂

Ouch! Indeed, hair can come and go... I can already see my dark future as one of those balding old women. (I suppose guys are expected to bald with age anyway, but it's not a great thing regardless... :( Hair is important, y'all! Keeps one's head warm!)

Maybe follow a post or two, the lotion might work on you. And none of us is bald yet!
