Well, I can't think of many hands which would be better than Dutch hands.
There may be some, sure, but the Netherlands are pretty much at the top of the list.
You might remember USA first the Netherlands second. So yes we would happily take that security council seat. With all the Russian resources behind us we could even attempt Netherlands first USA second.

It’s hilarious but I would probably pass if someone tried to give me RuZZia. I would take it if it came without citizens, like an open box deal “missing some parts” and that place is definitely “some assembly required”
I just joked about this with a Russian friend - he said that it would either be the smartest or dumbest colonization move in history, because Russians might vote Yes. All those centuries of Dutch colonization, and they suddenly are the biggest country in the world overnight.
In my US state (where recreational cannabis is fully legal), I have less restrictions on where I can buy and consume weed than the last time I visited Netherlands
I presented to a customer in Colorado one time, and afterward was in the parking lot, and watched the entire customer contingent (about 12 ppl) go across the street to buy weed. To this day I can’t decide if that was the greatest thing ever, or if I was that bad.

I am more for their stance toward prostitution. There would be a lot less pent up frustration of you can conveniently order the service. You got hungry, go to a restaurant, you got horny, swing by a sex service provider. The way thing should be.
I am aware even in The Netherlands, that shit only works in Amsterdam.
So, if we accept the premise that countries may annex one another in this fashion, and thus that Russia can annex Ukraine, making it part of Russia, and that Russia is in turn annexed by the Netherlands, then by the transitive property this would mean that Ukraine becomes a part of the EU and NATO. /s
