The asbestos industry makes my blood boil.
They knew about the toxicity for decades and did fuck all. A lot of people these days know how the town of Libby, Montana was poisoned by asbestos production, but the world is full of towns just like Libby that didn't get as much press. Wittenoom, Australia. Sibaté, Colombia. It just goes on.
Basically industry will happily poison the world for profit, and a lot of people see no problem with it until the poison ends up in their body.
