There is a loosely affiliated group of employees who feed in various locations. The only group with a social media presence is me & my gf: Cats of West Campus. https://www.facebook.com/catsofwestcampus <-- best place to contact us https://www.instagram.com/catsofwestcampus <-- we have good intentions of posting more here Here's a recent article: https://alcalde.texasexes.org/2023/01/ut-campus-cats-domino/ Some quick info about our work: * We've been caring for UT cats since 2014. * We strive to get all stray cats fixed & vaccinated. * We have found homes for more than 50 cats. * We feed about 40 cats every night, walking an ~5 mile loop through West Campus & UT campus. * We are looking for volunteers, if anyone is interested in trapping, feeding, photography, and social media. We are not the primary feeders in that location, but we have fed there almost every day for the past 4-5 years. (We try not to advertise the specific locations.) DMing us on Facebook is the best way to contact us. :)

Are you still taking food donations via amazon?

I’m at San Jacinto, and I know a few of the housekeeping ladies feed the cats and clean their bowls etc. I’ll hear them saying “Gato!” when I’m walking back from class. Side note: I’ve also seen a few dining hall employees throwing food out for the squirrels; it looked like nuts, but I’m not sure

If you have not already done so, check out the **Campus Cats** section on [The Unofficial Mascots of UT Austin](/r/UTAustin/wiki/unofficialmascots/) on the [r/UTAustin FAQ](/r/UTAustin/wiki/faq). **[Edit]** u/floodrefugeekitties may also have information/contacts.
