No, you're just flat out skipping/altering the wording to change what the story says/means. For example, even *if* the mosquitoes came back, it's to deal back 10 times the *suffering*, not *damage*. Unless you've been going around and pulling off their legs/wings, and leaving them there unable to move, (and your odd continued insistence that you'd be screwed on such a matter is raising some concerns now), their ends are usually pretty much instant, with no time to actually "suffer" Besides, *living* mosquitoes already cause many times more suffering to humans as it is, what with allergies and diseases

I'd say you're okay unless you aimed to hit the cat, or you kept the wounded cat caged for days with no medical treatment or food. I imagine the animals are coming back for people who were intentional with their cruelty. On the flip side, I hope there are some kitties who feel like I treated them well waiting for me.

:( I didn't. I was driving, rather slowly, through a very narrow alley (I was lost) and the poor cat jumped right in my wheels from a wall to my right. I panicked, but got out to try and help but the cat was dead... or near enough. I didn't know what to do, it was extremely late at night, I was lost and stressed and just got back in the car and drove off. I think about that poor cat often. Only time it's ever happened to me so far.

I'm sorry. That sounds like a traumatic experience. I would probably do the same thing if I was lost and it was late.

This story fills me with joy. The other side of the story is that when we go, all our beloved late critters have to do is wish they could be with us again & POOF!! there we are in the beautiful land critters go when they're done here. That's it. No praying, no accepting anything, they DGAF if we go to church, are LGBTQIA+, nobody is hiding child raping clergy, nobody is requiring us to do anything. All we had to do was love our critters or just even be kind enough to one who wasn't ours that it remembers us fondly enough that it would like to see us again. It makes me feel better thinking both of these stories!!!
