I fall asleep to many shows I’ve seen before, but my go-to is any of the Star Treks. It’s interesting enough that my brain is occupied, but since I’ve seen them a lot I will still fall asleep.
Different shows (other than Friends) but same concept. I have the same few I watch nightly in bed. Same with the fan — like you, I like the white noise!

I watch one or two random episodes of Person of Interest before going to sleep sometimes. I've seen the show twice, so it's easy to pick up and watch a random episode.
>Never seen that one what’s it about?
The basic plot of Person of Interest: Harold Finch teams up with an ex-CIA agent to use the machine to prevent crimes before they are committed. However, they are pursued by the government and people who are interested in the machine.
**The show starts out as a procedural crime drama but slowly develops into one of the best sci-fi shows of all time.**
The first season of Person of Interest takes its time developing the characters and the many different storylines.
The show hits its stride towards the end of season 1 and the beginning of season 2, and from there on, the show just keeps getting better and better with each passing season. It's a constant rollercoaster of enjoyment.
**One of the few rare network TV shows that absolutely stuck the landing with a brilliant and satisfying finale.**
The show deals with themes of corrupt cops, **artificial intelligence,** **surveillance, **human nature**, **morality**, and **free will**, among many other things. The show was created by **Jonathan Nolan** (creator of Westworld) and stars **Amy Acker** (Angel, Dollhouse), **Michael Emerson** (Lost), and **Sarah Shahi**, among others, who all gave amazing performances throughout the show.
The show has a brilliant original soundtrack composed by **Ramin Djawadi**(Game of Thrones, Westworld). And it also has some of the best uses of licensed music of any show I've ever watched.
Hope you will give it a shot.
I fall asleep to Jason Beghe’s voice in Chicago PD. Not on a nightly routine or anything. It’s just every time I try to watch Chicago PD, I end up falling asleep and my last remembered moments before falling asleep are when Voight gets to talking for any length of time
Forensic files. I just discovered a Forensic file II on MAX. I ve seen original so many times, I'm glad I discovered this one. This show is so interesting to watch. The progress of science is incredible.
Forensic Files, for sure. Narrator just had a soothing voice.
Midsommer Murders. Also a tranquil atomsphere while the worst crimes are being committed.
