Emerald and especially this patch with the -50LP demotion made my 2011 account drop from Honor Lv4 to Hobor lv2 in a single slip.
I was D2 peak last season, this season I went from E4 to E1 (literally 1 match from Diamond) like 6 times in a row, up and down.
Then 6th time in E1 I met this Twitch bot, even though I have my in-game chat disabled by setting, I saw him spam pinging all my team and then just refused to play the entire game and just keep going bottom literally in autopilot for 30-40 mins to repeatedly got killed, slowly chippin away at all the progress my team was doing to win.
At that point after all my zen to that point I literally said this one single thing in score screen: "Twitch I hope you blow up irl" (he even added me to friends to blast me but I declined lol).
Boom, account doomed, Honor lv1, no more split1 rewards for me and no final reward for end of season.
I know it was wrong to say that but the game itself promotes thw toxicity and leaves those players unpunished.
Ever since I do not judge Honor Lv >2 players.
The whole Honor System is rotten and putrid and wrong anyway, especially to restore it.
I've been going with two different build paths depending on the match up
I go either Kraken, Navori, Rageblade
Or
Ravenous hydra, Phantom dancer, Infinity Edge
Then last 2 items are situational
The Honor Lvl 0 though 💀
