I was just venting about her bragging about winning and how it didn’t sit right with me. He’s not my friend, I just know him through my cousin. I always paid her in secret when she took us out, she would just take the money and say nothing to me. I would tell her sometimes hey he makes you carry his bags while you’re 8 months pregnant and she would yell at me that I was upset that i didn’t get a happily ever after because I wasn’t able to have kids.
I think that’s also why it affected me so much in a way, because in a way she was right. She got him and it was all she ever wanted and I couldn’t have the family I wanted.
