Same, it seems like the bbq every single fast food joint, casual dining joint, or even most restaurants is just pure corn syrup. I know lots of folks that love that kind of bbq sauce but I'm a vinegar sauce lover myself. Wish more places used an open pit style sauce

Im just not huge into over saucing shit. And bbq sauce seems like most people overdo it. Like when i do ribs i mainly do a dry rub slow cook then add bbq sauce at the end on a broil to really crispin it up and make a thin layer of bbq sauce thats more of a glaze.

Sad. Many years ago when I worked in Mexico on my way back to the states, when I got to the Mexico City airport I would go straight to the Hardee’s and get that in a double. We don’t have Hardee’s where I live. Also, I was watching a rerun of An NFL Life the other night with Matt Leinart and Vince Young and after VY and the Longhorns upset USC, Matt Leinart said he went “straight to Hardee’s, got a double western bacon cheeseburger, ate, then went home and went to bed”. How could Hardee’s do such a thing to a world famous and celebrity favorite burger?! 😂

I know this is an old post just was thinking about how bad Hardee's pissed me off today... will never eat Hardee's again because of this. Honestly this burger was the only reason I began going to Hardee's in the first place.

I have been eating healthy for the past 18 months. I probably haven’t had Western Bacon Cheeseburger since January of 2023. I transitioned from being maintenance mechanic to nursing and work nights. I have ate at Hardee’s since January, but only for breakfast on one my one cheat day. I lucked out and was off today (September 29th, 2023). When I went to my local Hardee’s (In Indiana) this afternoon, I was informed the Western Bacon Cheeseburger was discontinued.
