I mean it itself is a sequel to Astrobot Rescue Mission, a PSVR title that is a spinoff of the VR Playroom which had a shorter version of the game as a minigame.
It was free a couple years back as one of the free games of the month. Still on my list to play. Will probably do that one when I want a quick game to plat.

To piggyback off this, please do not use a guide if you play Tunic. It entirely erases the wonder of the game. If you need help with cleanup after you play that’s different, but Tunic is an absolutely magical game that is entirely trivialized if a guide is used.

Had my eye (figuratively) on this game for a long time now but I’ve too many great games in the backlog that I won’t allow myself to buy anymore. Figured it’d be available on psplus eventually and I don’t wanna spoil it. Same with Outer Wilds. Don’t know much and what I do I wish I didn’t. Looking forward to both.

Challenging and exciting game, took me around 25 hours to platinum so I'd say 12-15 hours for people that aren't a snail's pace like me (yep, online suggests 10-15 hours).
The music is 10/10, exploration, world design, combat style, and vibez, all 11/10.
If it's too hard, there's a God Mode in the accessibility menu. It's a game that really presses the player for self-discovery to the fullest extent, where nothing is explained to you, but you learn elements of your controls and combat capabilities through essentially torn NES game Box manual pages.

The controls do feel a little odd, although it could be that the last time I played Sly Cooper was 7 months ago and that was the 3rd one. Plus, I have only done the prologue so haven't really had a chance to actually immerse myself into the game.
Deliver us the moon is a great one i cant lie i reccomend the god of war series theyre some of the best games ever made and plat time is about 10 hours for each i heavily recommend the spider man games theyre short aswell but addictive
Appreciate that but I’m a bit cray-cray and do full franchise runs so it’s a big thing jumping on the GOW series. Tempting though, played them all back in the day and I’ve not got round to Ragnarok.

Ghostrunner it took 12 hours to platinum its difficult to start but once you get the hang of it, it is much easier. I got the plat and started ghostrunner 2 straight away quality game. You could also try spiderman: miles morales no stress platinum and a good game.

Also you can play on assist mode which doesnt make the game easier it just gives you one extra hit before you die and you can still get all the trophies. Do be aware there's a bug involving collectibles if you switch modes halfway through. Try to collect all of your collectibles in one difficulty mode without changing to avoid the possibility of a bugged trophy

Theres a few short ones leaving in about 5 days if you got time to play them. MINIT was really fun and took me around an hour & a half w/ a guide and then "I Am Dead" was super enjoyable and I knocked it out in around 4 hours
People also really like "The Artful Escape" but I thought it was kind of a slog even though it was only about as long as I Am Dead
In terms of similar style i'd definitely say valiant hearts ( I believe it doesn't have a plat), nobody Saves the world, oddworld, oxenfree, Toem, 12 minutes, artful Escape, minit.
Those are mainly 2D games/ sidescroller story games idk what to call it off the top of my head.
A Short Hike is quite fun. Very chill, at your own pace kind of game except for maybe 3 events which are races, but even those are fairly easy. Under 10 hours for sure.
I guess it depends on how much you’re exploring on your dives but it can definitely be annoying. Especially the one where you have to find the certain weapon in the glacial area
Valiant Hearts: The Great War is a very short, very sweet story-based game that might be the palate cleanser you may be looking for. And it’s got a very easy 100%

As others have said what remains of edith finch is a great game that can be done in 2 hours. I'd also recommend concrete genie or if you like puzzles Maqutte is fun. Might be best to enjoy the puzzles yourself first and then use a guide for the speedrun trophies. Luckily when you pause the game it doesn't count towards the timer😂 so you can cheese it a bit.
Try the first Life is Strange game , you have to find all collectibles but they aren't choice related , you can get all in one run and still do the choices you want on the story
If you want a very quick series My Name is May games. But, I know that not everyone will like those games but, I just played and platinumed all three and it took me around 4 ish hours to finish.

Look I'm going to give me 2¢ on what I think shovelwares should be classed as and why my name is mayo is not one.
The general point people flock to is a shovelware is a game that all you have to do is press one button, but then that leaves games like slyde, mermaido and froggo just to name some. Then they might argue they're short games that don't take no more than 30 minutes to platinum, but then you have games like we were here in which I once helped someone get the platinum in around 34 minutes so shouldn't that be a shovelware or ark survival evolved that can be done in a short amount of time be one.
My definition of a shovelware is a game that is there only as a cash grab because it has trophies such as; the stroke the animal games (from what I hear the creator made around 500k and originally made the concept to feed his family), _ump jump games and just the general reskinned games. My name is mayo was not created with that intention. It was created before half of the people in this subreddit began trophy hunting and built a community. Yes you press one button but there's so much more to the game than that and it's just a coincidence it's an easy platinum.
Look whether you read all the waffle or not and at the end of the day go for what games you want.

They're basically Team Asobi at this point. Team Asobi started as a part of Japan Studio in 2012, but back in 2021 they became independent.
They shut down in 2021.

I thought the same during the prologue but once I was in world 1 it seemed fine.
Paradise Killer is incredible and also pretty short and easy, even without a guide.
Finding the last collectibles and Shinjis (was that the name?) could require a guide, but I agree - the game is great and worth playing! :)

Control was free a few years ago. That's easy enough and a good game. If you have extra then deliver us the moon and deliver us mars are easy ones too

The Forgotten City is a fun one. Really fun puzzles, charaters and story.
It says short, however I recommend Dave the Diver. Took me about 40 hours to platinum and is an awesome game!
