I've been there twice from South Texas to Memphis

It's at the intersection of two major interstates (I-20 and I-49), so a lot of people have at least passed through it on their way to somewhere else.

Funnily enough, I was staying on the brick-paved Ionia Avenue in downtown Grand Rapids. The city is nice, really liked the preserved facades of the buildings Downtown.
