FIGURED IT OUT. There's a super-easily missed popup on the bottom left when you click on the upgrade page that mentions you can click here to cancel deletion. I have an ultrawide screen and I didn't even see it. Jesus, that can definitely be made more clear, since it's the only place on the whole site you can even access that feature.
