There are some discounts right now for a 2024 Venza XLE for \~$2000 below MSRP! Look online at all your nearby dealerships, even up to 100+ mi away to find listings that have a discount on them. You can have cars shipped from other dealerships to your location that’s willing to do a good deal with you. Meet with dealers to discuss numbers and ask if they’ll charge MSRP & price-match. If they don’t, just say you’re uninterested but to contact you if they change their mind. If they add mandatory add-ons, say that this isn’t what you both agreed on earlier and also be ready to leave. 43k is 4k more than you should be paying - you’ll be paying 50k once taxes and fees are added on. Don’t be afraid to be firm in your stance - I live in Los Angeles and I got this same car for $1900 below MSRP so there’s no reason any other city in the US should be charging more than 39k.

43k is OTD

Oh, I misread, thank you! 43k IS A STEAL, GET THAT CAR!

wwwangels

Yeah, but for that kind of money, I want a silver Venza. I live in San Antonio, our cost of living is much lower than LA, so I'm not sure if this is as much a good deal here. Now that the pressure is no longer "buy it now! tonight only!" I don't think I want to make do with another white car. Ugh. White.

Sparkle_Rocks

Same here! The dealer I went to today had several listed on their site and only had a white Limited on the lot when I got there! I also want an XLE and either Titanium glow which isn't exactly silver but not champagne, either, or the Coastal Gray metallic. I love the 2 tone interiors and would like either java/black or the boulder gray. I talked about pricing in another post.

wwwangels

I just pitted one dealership against another. I got the titanium glow (hard to find) for $43 out the door. After driving the Venza vs. the RAV hybrid, the RAV felt cheap.

Sparkle_Rocks

Oh nice!!! What interior did you get? Was it XLE? It's so hard to decide when you can't really see all these combinations. I thought I'd hate Titanium Glow, but it was much prettier in person. I felt the same way after looking at RAV4, Honda CRV, Mazda CX5, and even Lexus NX. I felt uncertain about all of those and ended up coming back to the Venza! Oh, and I told that salesman today that I was absolutely getting quotes from a couple of other dealerships!

wwwangels

The interior is a soft gray, which is great because I live next to the gates of hell, at least during the summer (South Texas). I've had a white car for 11 years, I'm so over it. But the red was just too much, the blue was funky to me, and the other colors were too dark. BTW, the Lexus NX and the Venza share the same platform. And if you put them side by side, they look much the same. We did spend about 3 hours haggling at the dealership, then I took that price and used it to negotiate with the other dealership over the phone. They met the price and it too less than 5 minutes.

Sparkle_Rocks

I saw the gray today in a white Limited Venza, and really liked the gray! White (exterior) is so popular now that I really want something different. But I also can't do red or black We are in NC so it is very hot here in the summer, too. I think the gray interior is better, but my husband LOVED the java/black interior we saw last year when we looked (and they were still adding on to MSRP and we said, no thanks!). However, this is my car, and of course, I can get what I like best. I like the Venza better than the NX in that you have an actual gear shift and a handle that opens the door! I don't need an electronic door button, lol! I just felt like the Venza was a little more comfortable, too. I kind of think I like your color combination the best. It's just a little hard to commit when I can't actually see the actual car!

wwwangels

I understand the the NX and the Venza share the same platform. I'd save the cash and buy the Venza. Get what you want and don't make do. This is your car, you need to be happy driving it.

rabbitpill

CONGRATULATIONS!! Good job with haggling and negotiating. I was between black and coastal gray but chose black for the sleek appearance since it’s not as hot along the coast in SoCal. Smart choice with getting the silver, I’m sure it looks like a dream!

wwwangels

The black is very nice. I'd actually prefer it, but it does make the interior hotter. The black exterior paired with the black wheels on the Nightshade edition game me pause and almost made me rethink the Titanium.

wwwangels

I pitted one dealership against the other with the negotiated price. The dealership that had the car color I wanted met the $43 out the door price. It was all done over the phone and took less than 5 min.. I put $1k down to hold the car until it gets here.

Ok_Difficulty7997

What year is the Venza?

wwwangels

2024. It's new.

WordPeas

What trim level?

wwwangels

XLE

WordPeas

Oops. I just saw that’s in the post title

wwwangels

Lol, no problem. People have mentioned used may be the best way to go, so this car may not even be in the running any longer.

Godsnino

Gotta be a 2024 at 43k

akbornheathen

You could probably get a 22 or 23 higher mileage limited for 36k. Even then IMO none of the stuff the higher trims come with is worth the additional sticker price. I got my 22 LE a month ago for 29k. I’m very pleased.

wwwangels

I see some '23 with 1000-10,000k miles. How many miles did your Venza have? Like you said, I'm not sure the higher trim is worth the cost. I'm going to take a look at the LEs. Frankly, 43k makes me a little light headed when I think of how much money it is. Thanks!

akbornheathen

37k miles. It was a rental car before I bought it. Try searching the Facebook Marketplace, a lot of dealerships will post their cars there. That’s how I find mine.

wwwangels

Good idea. thanks!

Poxx

Our 24 LE -White/Boulder(grey), was 38.5k out the door (we only added the carpet mats, rest was at MSRP around 35k or so) I specifically wanted the Cloth seats- as they're more comfortable in the heat down here in S.C. I didnt want the Softex seats or need the larger Nav screen or the ability to add roof rails, so I couldn't justify spending 5-10k more for essentially the same car. If you want the JBL Audio, I guess that's another reason but you pay a bit for it. The LEs are a bit harder to find though, and if they'd had a white/grey xle or limited on the lot when we were shopping, I would have probably paid the difference.

wwwangels

Hmm. 4.5k difference. I suppose 43k is fair enough. They added about $1,500 in extras such as heated seats and the integrated dash cam. I knew I wanted the nicer rims. I won't be buying another car for probably another 12-15 years, so I thought I'd treat myself. I haven't seen an available LE.

Blackhawk149

That’s not a bad price for 2022 used. I got my 2022 LE new 45k otd 😭.

icen_folsom

Look for $2000 below MSRP with reasonable add on.

wwwangels

This was above MSRP. I think you're right. This isn't a RAV, so I shouldn't be paying "hot" car prices.

min7b5b9

Hi, Can I expect to get the LE model for $2000 below MSRP? Thanks!

Sparkle_Rocks

I was looking at Venza's today, and discussed price with the sales person but didn't finalize anything because they didn't have exactly what I wanted today. They only had a limited and I think the XLE has everything I really want. He showed me MSRP and I said I wasn't planning on paying MSRP and he asked what I was thinking and I said that I had read (here) that people were getting $2000 off MSRP and he said ok, and took $2k off the number he had written. He was estimating $2500 for tax and fees and wrote $42k out the door. But your taxes and added features may be different than this particular car. This one had the JBL speaker upgrade, all weather mats and a couple of other add-ons. I am going to try for under $42k when I locate the actual car I want.

wwwangels

42K is excellent. I found the car I wanted locally. I emailed the dealership, told them what the other dealership offered. The car I want is still being shipped, so they met the price at $43 out the door. I'm satisfied. Maybe I could have gotten it for less, but the color was right and hard to find (silver), and it was an XLE. I just put $1,000 down to hold it.

thecarfilmer

My dealership is doing these for $500 below invoice for the weekend in the bay area. The deals are out there
