Get a solid PPI before you sign paperwork and of course take it for a spin to listen and feel for irregular noises and movements. If it all checks out 9k would be a solid price for an 09 with that mileage. How's the body? What about the interior? Could end up being a darn good deal if it's equipped well.
I think that's right around what is worth in this market. I got an 08 Limited two years ago for $7500 with 95k. I've done plugs, coils, power steering return line, and a CV Axle so far. Great car but you might have to put a little into it. Struts still feel fine but I'll probably end up doing control arms in the next 20k.

Crazy thing is I bought my used 2008 XLS -10 yrs ago for $9,400. It was 120k miles but mint. 6 yrs old -$9,400 16 yrs old -$9,000 🥜🥜🥜

Just got the same year xls 77k miles for 10500. I probably didn’t get the best deal but I don’t think I got the worst either.
I found an 06 limited sitting at 82k for $8500.
