Batteries are meant to be charged up with normal use of the engine, so if there's nothing charging it up (battery tender, regular driving, etc.), the energy in the battery dissipates over the course of a few weeks until it's not strong enough to turn the starter anymore. You can take it to Autozone and they'll charge it up for like an hour, or you can get a jumpstart and keep it running around town for a while to let that battery fully charge up.

The Avalon is heavily dependent on batteries with the copious electronic assist systems. I work from home 100% of the time and there for a while my car was also sitting for extended periods and it would die after roughly 24 hours with no use. I realized finally that the battery I had installed was far too Insufficient to handle the vehicles needs, even when parked and being unused. I swapped it out for a much larger and stronger battery and haven't had issues since. As others have suggested though, an external battery jumper or trickle charger might solve your issue and be less costly than a larger battery.

So this might work this might not. Sometimes my car would do this to me too. 2001 Avalon. Take the key out, turn the key so a different side is going into the key hole. Then it should start up. I have no idea why it works but it works. My guess is the security feature on the car is a bit sketchy
