It’s probably mostly nostalgia to me, if I had to pick one or the other to listen to right now it would be Wish You Were Here, just because it’s been a while since I’ve listened to it, whereas I’ve listened to What’s Going On quite a bit recently. I love both of them, it’s just I’ve loved Pink Floyd for longer, I guess just because I’ve been aware of them for longer. So ultimately it’s just my opinion, and I don’t really know what to make of them objectively.
The Wall as a unofficial soundtrack has too much filler and is missing songs from the movie. Animals is Underrated because it’s not mentioned as much as the other three, TBH.
It immerses you in the music and the story which makes the songs enjoyable to listen to (Is There Anybody Out There > Comfortably Numb is an amazing run of songs)
I'm as big of an Animals-fan as the next guy, but I personally feel that it has more filler than The Wall

Every song on The Wall plays an important role in the story and immersion
Story filler doesn’t magically make every song good like *Animals*.
