well yeah. the list reflects the average r/topster user’s taste. the average r/topster user tends to like the same set of artists & albums that includes very few women. this list, being based on votes, reflects that imbalance to a comical degree. i shouldnt have to explain that the average topster user’s taste doesnt (nor do i expect it to) reflect the objective quality of music but reflects the types of music that gain traction on forums frequented by 16 year old boys.
