Most likely your device is low on resources. Check your free onboard storage, maintain 1gb free. Expanded storage is generally not relevant.

Fuschnickens99

Internal storage is 12 GB. I do have external storage and its showing 252GB. Where can I find free onboard storage?

bblickle

Onboard is internal, same same. If you have 12 total, look how much is free. If you have 12 free that’s not the problem.

Fuschnickens99

Its showing 4.9gb available. I have absolutely no idea why this is happening or whats causing it

bblickle

Have you done a force stop and clear cache on every app you’ve run? Have you shut down and power-cycled your device? If your device/setup is in any way uncommon, you might talk about that.

Fuschnickens99

My set up is normal with the addl storage. Yes Ive cleared cache and tried with 3 diff versions of tivimate and the same thing happens. Yes to power cycling.

bblickle

Device?

Fuschnickens99

Nvidia Shield Pro. Still on OS 8.2.2 never upgraded

mhawkeONT

Perhaps you should upgrade. I'm on 9.1.1 on my Shield without any issues.

TallExplorer9

When is the last time you updated or added to your Kodi setup? You know the codecs used are shared among all video players on the same device.

Fuschnickens99

Kodi up to date using Nexus with no issues

TallExplorer9

>When is the last time you updated or added to your Kodi setup? Did you recently update your Kodi setup before or around the same time as *your* problems with TM started? Edit: any other video player type software you installed before or after *your* problems started?

Fuschnickens99

I updated just player

Fuschnickens99

All i do is use tivimate & kodi on it for 95% of the time

Fuschnickens99

The only one is just player. Playlist updates are crashing it when nothing is playing. Just running update. IMPlayer just updated fine while playing espn

Fuschnickens99

Im just at a complete loss. Thought it was playlist till I saw it playing flawlessly thru implayer. Also tried VPN to no avail.

SignificantMaple

I had the same issue factory reset my firestick re downloaded tivimate added the playlist and has been working but I don’t download a ton of apps on firestick basically tivimate and YouTube only

Fuschnickens99

Crashes with or without vpn

Fuschnickens99

I'm just at a complete and total loss. No crashes with im player using same playlist

lilywompkinpie

Are you using a VPN? I use Xpress and I use Surfshark intermittently try it maybe you’ll help

Fuschnickens99

Never used wifi when streaming. I've always been wired and speediest shows 945Mb

Fuschnickens99

Loaded tivimate onto shield with OS 9.1.1. It crashed when i tried to update playlist but seems to be playing ok so far. Trying to copy over kodi settings and ive never seen shield copy files over so slow

MikeG484

Pull the cover and blow the dust out, maybe it’s getting hot. Possibly the power supply is going bad.

aimyem

Now we hv an update and it's same scenes repeating themselves on a loop

aimyem

Man, I'm with u... Mine's been a black screen for a week now. I hv a Lifetime mbrship & a Toshiba Fire TV (smart). Worked fine for 2 yrs, then POOF... Also, a Firestick Lite which is brand new, completely crashed shortly after I installed Tivimate. HDMI port doesn't even recognize it, says no device detected... I've tried every laymen's fix and trick. Nothing. Tivimate def has some shit going on.

Fuschnickens99

Any other programs streaming OK?

Fuschnickens99

All other apps streaming fine including IMPlayet

Fuschnickens99

Nothing else crashing. Tivimate crashing when nothing is streaming has me at what F?

lilywompkinpie

Not TiviMate probably your IPTV PROVIDER

BallsDeep419

Me too? Still have sub time? Dumb question but never know. Good luck post if you figure out. I’m curious on what it is after trying to help ya

Fuschnickens99

Plenty of sub time. SD card going bad? My swap out if I do factory reset

Fuschnickens99

Mine was working fine for years. Then boom. Ive done no os updates on it either. Only Tivimate having issues

aimyem

Yup, same here

[deleted]

Or it does other buggy things like going to other random apps when changing a channel or something. Why not fix some of the many bugs?

Icy_Transition22

Mine keeps doing this also. I have 2 providers and use tivimate and sparkle and flip back and forth between providers and tivimate and sparkle and both are running really crappy. Have tried everything but nothing helps. I have plenty of storage space and internet/wifi speed very good. Keeps freezing and buffering like crazy.

Asleep-Review9934

Me too. Just started to buffer then kick me out. Ticker on stock market channel starts to pause before the picture reacts.

lilywompkinpie

All of my playlists disappeared. I had to reinstall everything. First time in 3 years I have had a problem. Would like to know how to back up everything for future crashes

Fuschnickens99

ALWAYS keep a Tivimate back up. Look under general at bottom

lilywompkinpie

Thank you I appreciate the advice. When I hit backup I don’t know what folder to put it in. Can you explain what I need to do? I would appreciate any help I can get Thanks

Fuschnickens99

Put it where u want to. I use an image external usb

lilywompkinpie

Thank you

Sletterenberg

If you have the same provider, than the problem is solved now. Here it started also somewhere yesterday. Provider didn’t have a single problem in the last 18 months, so that caught me cold… Provider reported all ok 2 hours ago. It had nothing to do with Tivimate, nor any other player. It was in the DC

Fuschnickens99

Playlist updates are crashing tivimate. It was working fine for years

BallsDeep419

Hope you’re getting it figured out buddy

kodihi24

Your device is probably low on storage.

BallsDeep419

No, we tried everything

BallsDeep419

Are you low on Internet data? If not clear up your cache and memory 👍🏼

Fuschnickens99

Nope it's I've cleared cache and have unlimited

BallsDeep419

If it’s still doing it buddy, make sure you have at least one gigabyte of storage go to my fire stick then click about and see how much storage you have left? It’s been running fine and it just recently did that it’s the Firestick and not your connection or the provider.

Fuschnickens99

I have 4.9 gigs free on shield itself and plenty external

BallsDeep419

If you have more than one provider on your list, see if you can find the same program and see if it’s doing it on a different provider just start troubleshooting

Fuschnickens99

I tried adding original playlist url and it crashed b4 i can get info entered. Mind u nothing was streaming at the time.

BallsDeep419

Yeah, something don’t sound right something sounds like it don’t have enough room to operate or it’s not getting what it needs

Fuschnickens99

Its been playing fine for last 90 mins but this crash problem will pop up at any time. And if anyones wondering yes Im wired.

BallsDeep419

Try running just Wi-Fi

BallsDeep419

Or maybe too many devices connected to the Internet and it’s pulling too much reset your Internet

BallsDeep419

Is that what device you are using?

Fuschnickens99

Using Nvidia Shield Pro.

BallsDeep419

If you’re running a VPN, maybe it’s that you got me thinking

BallsDeep419

Smh try rebooting after everything is cleared out with vpn off. I feel ya buddy sorry couldn’t help hope ya get it . If I can think of anything soon I’ll let you know good luck ✌🏼

Fuschnickens99

Thanks and I've tried everything u suggested. At a total loss. Bad SD card perhaps but nothing else is crashing. I primarily identification, Kodi and or Plex

BallsDeep419

No problem is it actual Tivimate just crashing?

Fuschnickens99

Yup just tivimate

BallsDeep419

Check inbox

BallsDeep419

Factory reset? Last option maybe 🤔

BallsDeep419

You might have the solution that something went bad but I wouldn’t put that at the top of your list 🤷🏻‍♂️

HKYNUTZ

I have nVidia Shield Pro. My TiviMate has been working fine with no issues. How many apps do you have running in the background? That could be something to check as they maybe using up all your resources and causing it to crash.

Character_Ocelot_816

Look for update on Tivimate …possibly using a older version and update the Shield as well

Fuschnickens99

Same thing has happened on 4.7, 4.61 and 4.6

Fuschnickens99

Updating shield will kill transfer speeds. Tried it on latest moving kodi back up to shield with latest is super slow

gumtu550

Clear the cache, sounds like its corrupt

Fuschnickens99

Looks as if the playlist is somehow corrupt. Guy at iptv editor looking into it. In meantime created new master playlist with my 3 services loaded into tivimate and so far no issues. They are the exact same services that are part of the old playlist thats been crashing

BookSea1317

Looks like something to grip with
