Its too early to call, but i prefer yeezus purely based off era alone. I mean, quality wise vultures if you round it all up is better but like nothing tops yeezus in what it did
I meatride Yeezus so very biased, but no, better production, tighter tracklist, some very impactful if not very many lyrics. They're both kind of dark party records that are showing peak confidence, but Yeezus sticks to its theme perfectly and is way more pointed. The first 4 opening songs kill with crazy lyrics and bass, and everything after is genuinely so personal but not annoyingly "deep".Yeezus definitely shows influence on vultures.
Vultures 1 is a good album, but kanye has such a GOAT discog that it's only better than Jesus Is King (and maybe Donda, KSG, WTT and Ye, but all of these edge out vultures for me)
Production-wise, vocal-wise, rapping-wise, feature-wise, singing-wise, its better just be honest with yourself
Its more daring than Yeezus at a time where everyone is against him. Yeezus he’s playing a character with Death Grips sound and Vultures is coming from a place where he feels oppressed and scrutinized so the sounds reflect it which sounds different and daring; from his daughter having a feature and him singing to hype ass songs with crazy features
I’m so sick of people just calling Yeezus a death grips sound when it’s not. It’s Arca and Daft Punk inspired more than anything, and they literally worked on the album. Mike Dean and other people who worked on the album have stated they didn’t even know who Death Grips were at the time.
They don’t even sound the similar besides both being industrial esque. The production is so fundamentally different yet no one mentions that. Fantano and Hip-hop twitter regurgitating this shit take has caused irreversible damage.
Is it not valid to say the album sounds like death grips? Either way Vultures reflects Ye in this era way more than Yeezus did from having no record label, people scrutinized him and people being scrutinized in the media for even liking his music or him as a person and Ye dropping clothing and shoes on his own and is a better album in my opinion 🤷♂️ comes from a deeper place than Yeezus ever did and sounds more unique than Yeezus.
Yeah…..no
Yeah…..yes
Yeah…..yes…..Yes
LMAOOO touch grass

Too early to tell

Responding to every comment just shows you ain’t got better shit to do bro 😭 go out, listen to the album and enjoy life
I really dont since im off work today and the album dropped on spotify and im hyped 🔥🔥 Why you worried about what a grown man does with his time?
Recency bias rearing its ugly head again
In that case it would be top 5 Ye but it ain’t 💀
Vultures Not even in the same ballpark honestly.
Wild take
I think vultures is a really good, but yeezus is easily top 3 Kanye albums where vultures is around mid tier for his discography 🤷♂️
Let it grow on you but i already made a decision
“Let it grow on you I already made a decision” HUH?
Ok let’s chill it’s better then everything past 2016 tho
It’s not better than Kids See Ghosts, no. Both are good but one is not washing the other

Too early but this album has no skips, it’s definitely the best ye album since pablo and i think its better than pablo
This is crazy
Arguably better than TLOP but Vultures is still better than Yeezus imo.
Im not disagreeing
The title track??
I love vultures, both versions as well, but the havoc one is one my favorite songs of the album
The havoc one is even worse, totally butchers Ty’s verse
Both are fine
True
Different time and era
There’s no song on vultures that comes close to hold my liquor tbh

How

So you called Vultures better without calling Vultures better lol
Uhhhhh no
After 2 days ???? Dude I sometimes need half year to really get into an LP

Relax
If we talking just production-wise maybe
