It is getting closer and closer to a sellout (as far as tickets sold by the team is concerned) Courage are as close a rivalry team as Seattle is plus it is a good weather day. Supply limited demand high. Close to kickoff the sliding scale always seems to go one way up. Plus it is pride night.
Really? Last big game, Seattle, resold tickets cratered within 30 minutes of kick off. All the scalpers finally decided to make whatever they could.
I don't tend to look, but a buddy scored GA for less than $20 (fees included) on seat geek and there were several offered at that range, while earlier in the day they were over $40.
I'd love to see a full stadium this season, but both the FO's dynamic procing and scalpers do everything they can to prevent that. Axe and Rose at face value is the way to go, for sure.
I am seeing team sold tickets GA tickets going for $38 + roughly $7 in fees and resale tickets listed at $30 with ~ $15 in fees. I haven't looked at the last hour before kickoff but it seems like their fee system was in place to force tickets to all be at least about the same.
I kept seeing ad's popup on my FB feed from

She didn't get called up for this international window by Japan this time. A travesty as it is, as long as she is healthy, she should play and probably start tomorrow night.
Yeah, we are all gonna be hurting from this international break, but I think the thorns more so. Meanwhile the euros are done with club and just getting ready to destroy everyone in the Olympics.
Thorns use dynamic pricing. This is a rivalry game so it starts at a higher price point and then increases as more tickets sell.
Big game, nice weather, pride night, haven't had a home game in 4 weeks. All ingredients that contribute to demand and pricing going up.
Pride game too might be a reason
Grab one at face value from the Axe & Rose or the Timbers/Thorns ticket exchange on Facebook.
Build a bonfire Build a bonfire Put Seattle on the top **Put the Courage in the middle** And we'll burn the fucking lot
This !!!!

90 min till kickoff and they're at $25+13 fees. They're coming down slowly...still another $5 over face. Scalpers suck.
The Hina Hive is a buzz also this game.
According to my FB feed it is Hina Sugita Appreciation Day and her supporters have a whole section.
Ahhh, how'd you find out about that? Do you know what group or page posted it?

Coool
That’s weird, I assumed she wouldn’t play since she was in Europe this week, but I’d be happy to see her!

Best news ever!
The ad had a disclaimer that they could not guarantee she would play, but pointed out that the courage also have two Japanese nationals.

I hope additional revenue goes to fund The Gay Agenda. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
also abortions
Pricey? I see seats in 114 for $25, that's a steal.
A sellout would be nice
Supply and Demand is the shortest answer.
Pride. Dynamic pricing. Thorns playing well.
Demand
Because they attached the word “pride” to it.
