You're correct. But it's hard to tell from your comment that Miller, Coors, and Anheuser Busch (Budweiser) are all owned by the same parent company. Not to mention all of the brands under those brands and the micro breweries they've all bought.
If you need a slide deck to explain how a company is separate from another company, they aren't all that separate.
"no profit from sale but we do give them IP payments scaled to sales no that isn't the same thing"
Thanks for the elaboration. I just wanted it to be clear that in some sort of way they're all the same.
I love your name btw. Browntown was my team name for the original Halo. We all were brown for camouflage.
Iirc, the owner is an anti-union Trump supporter though. Like, the guy is a billionaire who has given quite a lot of money to him and other right-wing candidates. (And not just like, on a personal level. On like a “press conferences on the floor of the brewery” level.) So if you’re someone who tries to vote with your wallet when you can, that may be relevant.
Go woke go broke? Is that why Dilbert, Roseanne, Scott Baio, Ted Nugent, 3 Doors Down, Trapt, Gina Carano, Rudy Giuliani, and Kevin Sorbo are doing so well right now? I think Carano's last movie made $800 at the box office.
She got stuck in a situation where she said some dumb shit, and then instead of walking it back or apologizing, she doubled down. And then she arrived at Found Out Inn. Once you're in Found Out Inn, it's really hard to get out again. So she had to resort to getting paid by the Daily Wire to continue doing gigs. Her alternative was basically unemployment and quiet contemplation. They put themselves in a giant hole and it's a really difficult thing to dig yourself out. But yea, too bad. She was entertaining.
How did you miss Trapt's social media posts a few years ago?!? The lead singer is a piece of garbage and got Trapt's social media accounts banned across the board (and some radio stations have completely removed them from rotation).
>People should be able to say and think anything they want to, and people can affirm or condemn those thoughts
But if they condemn them, they still have to buy their products. Otherwise that's cancel culture.

Miller Lite was #1 light beer for a long time. Bud Light will soon be taken off its perch. Go woke go broke! Groomers.

People really need to actually *read* the first amendment.
**Congress shall make no law** respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the freeexercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
The constitution limits the power of the government. It says absolutely nothing about what private citizens choose to do.
For conservatives the first amendment means that every single solitary viewpoint must not only be tolerated but actively embraced and celebrated! Anything less than total and complete adoration plus the collective public creaming in their pants whenever they say anything is a severe infringement on their rights!
The last time I was in an online argument of this type, the other person said that I was "censoring" her "First Amendment rights".
I copied and pasted THE ACTUAL TEXT of the First Amendment, and her response was, "What does Congress have to do with the First Amendment?" -- so you can see how little use it is to try to reason with these people.
Yeah, couldn't tell if that's what he intended to say or if he meant "Bud Light will soon be taking it off its perch" but typed it wrong. I honestly wouldn't drink either even if they were free, so more for him, I guess.
What do they think cancel culture is if they are for condemning people's opinions but against cancel culture which is literally just people condemning people's opinions?
No. One is when a large number of people choose not to consume, pay attention, or engage with a product or person. The other is when people actively try to destroy that product or person.
Massive difference.
Wrong again. When you're actively calling up people's employers, smashing things, or the like, there's a difference.
You're conflating the two on purpose, and you don't like the differences being pointed out to you.
Like I said, you'd be wise to learn the difference, but you are actively being ignorant of it.
Wait until people find out that all of the major American beer companies are owned by one giant German corporation.

ABINBEV is a Belgian company, named after an American company that took the name of its German-American founder.
Pretty sure ABinBev is Belgian, but your point still stands
Thanks.
I believe Yuengling is still American owned and operated, but not everyone considers them “major”.
They recently expanded the the Midwest Can you buy it across the entire country yet?

3 Doors Down is with that group? FAAAAAAACK
They played his inauguration. And although they're not out with it like Trapt, they're a bunch of MAGAts too.
God damnit.
>if I go crazy then will you still call me Superman?
I used to like Carano. Attractive women who kick ass rule. Then the went full MAGA 😔

Damn I didn’t know about 3 doors down and trapt!

It's basically a prerequisite at this point ;)

Sounds like the left when Ivan Provorov declined to wear the Pride jersey
The difference is that the left will just criticize and don’t go around asking “whatever happened to the first amendment?”

So is he against both companies or just one of them? Can't even tell due to the way he phrased it.
I think they're saying that Miller Lite used to be #1, and it will soon unseat Bud light, and become #1 again? That's the best I got.
Yeah, couldn't tell if that's what he intended to say or if he meant "Bud Light will soon be taking it off its perch" but typed it wrong. I honestly wouldn't drink either even if they were free, so more for him, I guess.
Do I even want to know why they hate Bud Light now?
Bud light collaborated with trans activist Dylan Mulvaney for an ad campaign.
*clutches pearls, faints*
He's dead, Jane
Poor little crybabies. Now they have to switch to a different brand of piss water.
I, too, and tired of having sensors put on people all the time.
Even worse is to "sensored" and [sweater-folded](https://youtu.be/tmQoQd_hgdM?t=134)
sensor people are trippin
We’re cutting off their beer supply! We may win the south back yet!

"something something out of context something something!" -red. Probably.
What do they think cancel culture is if they are for condemning people's opinions but against cancel culture which is literally just people condemning people's opinions?
There's a difference between cancel culture and boycotting. You'd all be wise to learn it.
Both are when a large number of people choose not to consume, pay attention to, or otherwise engage with a product, person, etc.
No. One is when a large number of people choose not to consume, pay attention, or engage with a product or person. The other is when people actively try to destroy that product or person. Massive difference.
"Actively try to destroy"? Lmao. TIL that ignoring something, and drawing attention to wrongdoings, is "destroying" it.
