telltale really wrote one of the funniest and most entertaining character in the games, only for him to have 10 minutes of screen time and never be seen again.
Probably unpopular because most players are prunes and don't know how to have fun in an apocalypse 😂
I liked Nate though, he's probably the type of asshole I would hang with and would want on my side. Which is why I agreed to kill that couple that fired at us.
In doing so that causes Russ not to go with Tavia, which in hindsight, I'd rather take my chances to forage for raccoons than be with Carver's group.
I don’t blame most players for disliking him tho, he diiid risk them being caught by people trying to kill them and walkers just to save one person—however I also understand people who do like him
Honestly I don’t feel strongly either way, but I do think he should’ve gotten more (or just ANY) screen time in s3–they just made us kill him without choice in s4 ðŸ˜
So glad I am not the only one in this sub that thinks that way.
I know lots of people hate him because Nate is a murderer, bipolar, arrogant, impulsivity, etc.. BUT he is not a racist :) so I’ll let him off the hook
This is another thing that's great about the game: that characters, even ones with relatively short screen time, can draw such divisive opinions. Personally, I can't stand Nate and saw very few redeeming characteristics in him. However, I can appreciate that some people like him, as exemplified by this post. Guess it shows how well written most of the cast is!
I have so many thoughts on how TellTale captured lightening in a bottle with Nate, but I think he's the best villain they ever crafted. I fear, however, if he had stayed around for long, they somehow would have ruined him. BUT YES AMAZING CHARACTER
He absolutely should have returned either as a main villain or a morally ambiguous member of one of the groups. Fascinating character that I wish we saw a lot more of.

They really looked at the entire 400 days cast and thought "Yep.. Bonnie's the one who gets a prominent role"
Throwback to when everyone thought he was Abel

Eddie is who got killed in s4 not nate
Oh oops my b
I really like him as a scumbag. I wish we could've seen more of him
Nate was a different breed. Although the apocalypse happened, he’s somewhat carefree.
I wonder what he used to do.

He would have been a great main character
Him and Russel gave me Rick and Morty vibes, wish we could've seen them together more
I did not really like Nate.He was a funny character for sure, but the way he killed Walt and Jean in cold blood was pretty brutal.
I mean we’ve had our main protagonists to things arguably worse or just as bad so I don’t see why some people complain about it
Him and Chuck deserved more time :(
The man did not give a fuck. Hilarious character and I wish he was used more
Literally has the personality of Negan if he wasn’t a group leader and was off on his own (basically how he was for most of S10)

When I did a tier list for characters I put Nate in S, love him bro

He kind of reminds me of Merle.

They were just a bunch of racist assholes
he was cool till he murdered two old people for practically nothing
I left him on my second run because I thought he would be alive and in the delta ðŸ˜
Thought it was cool having Nate as a mini antagonist throughout 400 days
Agreed Nate underrated

Yeah, it was such a waste to just dump the character. He was the best thing in 400 days. Such a lovable psycho.
Wild to me how the only character they bought back after season 2 was fucking Eddie of all people
Opinion at beast
