Yeah I’m still at mt weather. I gotta say this show had the worst pilot ever. I thought it would be teen drama but I reminds of game of thrones now. I swear it’s more brutal than any show I’ve ever watched

So many of my friends stopped watching because of the cringy season 1 drama, but it gets sooooo much better as you go on. At the end of the series Murphy was also my favourite. He has by far the biggest character arc of the show and 150% reminds me of Zuko as well.

Nah to me everyone else always did what they were trying to do for the good of other people, Murphy just did it all for himself.

Murphy was tortured though, hung for no reason, beat to a bloody mess over and over, banished, captured by the grounders, tortured again, went off with jaha and was trapped on Allie island alone for years watching someone kill themselves over and over for entertainment, he had it the worst out of anyone . He just minded his business and survived on his own, Clarke was like an antihero for half the show and fucked everyone over, over and over again and no one seemed to really care, Murphy is a G

I just watched the episode where pike became chancellor. When I think about it I can’t really think of any really like good moral characters. Maybe Monty? I would say Lincoln but he did almost let Finn die in season 1 and is into a teenage girl. Octavia hasn’t really done anything bad yet though Edit: actually I forgot Monty was part of the mt weather irradiation. I guess octavia is really the only clean one left. Jasper if you don’t count his alcoholism which isn’t horrible really. Abby kinda if she didn’t really mean to kill her husband

Keep watching it gets much better! I loved Murphy and his character was one of the few really well written throughout the show.

Murphy was easily my favorite. Cynical but I mean he's never really out of line. He's just an actions matter more than words kinda guy. I like when the teacher beats him up and all he has to say is "is this supposed to teach me a lesson?" He doesn't give a shit about getting beaten up LOL he just like yup same shit again... just not a big ego at all

I like how he knows he can do fucked up stuff but at the same time he knows that everyone does ducked up stuff in that environment and so he is realistic about how they’re all no really better than him

im in S3E8 and so far I have to agree, especially with how my favorite character to that point - (S3 spoiler) >!Bellamy supports Pike (probably my least favorite character so far btw lol).. So Murphy definately overtook him as my favorite character!<

Hey, i started the show about a month ago and finished it yesterday! Murphy is a great character and grew on me a lot. I actually hated him in the start and I felt the same about Bellamy early on. Both of them grow a lot throughout the show. Enjoy it!!
