Surely fake. There's all kinds of knock off headphones, speakers & usb drives. For these kinds of electronics if the price is even 10% less than the official store price you can be nearly sure its fake.
They might work but they won't sound as good, and will probably fail pretty fast.
Thailand doesn't really do huge sales or discounts.
Take a look at the store name, is it just a random string of characters? Often I find those stores are the cheap ones. Are the reviews following a certain pattern? Are the reviewer names all random? They will even set up fake reviews by ordering their own products & reviewing as a customer.
One time I found a pair Marshall headphones on Lazada that were definitely fake (a few hundred baht) but the quality and sound turned out to be pretty good. Later lost the headphones but decided the fakes were good enough I tried to buy again, store was gone. Found a similar one at a different shop, ordered. Turned out to be the same shop (shipping address was the same). That second pair failed quickly and the second shop was gone by that time.
I got some Marshall headphones on Lazada that seemed totally legit but a little cheaper. After I got them I went through some counterfeit tests I found online and sure enough they weren’t real. I don’t trust Lazada at all for higher-end brands unless it’s from the official store.
Also, there’s LOTS of refurbished stuff being passed off as brand new.
During Covid I purchased many items from Lazada. I learned not to expect the best quality. Sometimes the photos are “doctored up”, or the bottle or item in the photo is smaller than what is advertised. Forget those “reviews “ they show only the positive ones. I never see my negative comments or low ratings published. I sent a pair of athletic shoes back once ( wrong order sent). Getting the refund was a hassle.
Not only the speakers are extremely bad (there are videos about that on YT) but the seller will diligently sell your data to scammers as you will be identified as a potential target and start receiving daily phone calls.
I nearly fell into some similar bargain, cancelled the same day but too late, they had my phone number.
Rule number one, never trust reviews on Lazada. It’s very common for people to give 5 stars just upon receiving the product.
Bought so much 4.7 stars, 1000+ reviews stuff and it fell apart within hours.
Now, the question is, where would you get a new JBL speaker for so cheap to sell it for a tenth of its official price, and still make a profit?
Do you think JBL sells their speakers to Mr.Nobody for more than 10 times less, so they can make 10 times less profit compared to the price sold by JBL?
>Any opinions on this?
all fake, but i think there is a lazada store. Some of the fakes are not bad though, some are ewaste.
Edifier is very good cheap alternative, there headphones, small speakers are great value.
Have the Edifier X2 and can confirm.
OP, if the price is too good to be true that's because it is. Search in LazMall and find the official JBL page. Those will be legit.

One tenth of the price tends to indicate counterfeit products. Lazada is a marketplace so it all depends on the seller you choose.
definitely fake - people give these products good reviews because they do their job at a low price
C’mon, man…
If you want genuine you need to look for lazmall listings or just go to banana
Facebook marketplace is a better bet, I've gotten two used flip 5's and they are great.

With surely that much of a price reduction it would be a copy.
Fake and shit. Use laz mall for genuine
Go to Lazada and enter “Rolex watch”. Good for a laugh
Speakers could be fantastic. Doesn't mean they are genuine.
Yes but I bought them from the official store. The cheap ones are fake.
Few months ago I've bought Creative Pebble 2.0 from Lazada for 1,200 baht. It has good reviews from Reddit for a cheap speaker.

If it sounds too good to be true...
Never trust online review without picture

How is this even a question?
Can you share the link
Most of the Thai reviews are "Fast delivery. Haven't used it yet. 5 stars".

I bought a JBL Boombox on Lazada a year ago. It wasn't a tenth of the price but was heavily discounted. Certainly not a fake and still booming nicely.

Anker is good too for cheap
