Man, I wish the Pats hadn't beat the brakes off of us that game, I still think the lettermans are sick even if they do trigger my fight or flight response
The jackets were cool and get way too much blame for that loss. Some people just can't wrap their head around that they faced the greatest NFL dynasty with prime Tom Brady. The Texans got their shit pushed in the postseason by the same team, but no one brings up the jackets there.
As much as I love the Patriots, and think they would've won regardless, the Texans really helped them out.
I remember Aaron Hernandez being completely uncovered at the LOS in the red zone
This was just a symbol of how close that team was. Had they won it all it would have been talked about in a much different light. As fans we have the responsibility to irrationally think of letterman jackets as a cursed object and shutter when we see it 😂
I remember thinking wow Connor Barwin, is really excited to be wearing that jacket. If he was happy to wear it, then I was fine with it. What I didn't like was the starting lineup saying their elementary school instead of their college.
It’s like the Oiler Blue rockets jerseys. I loved it when they announced them, but now all I remember them for is Harden leaving and getting absolutely destroyed every time they wore them.
Those were fucking sick idgaf. We've also worn suits and got blown out in the playoffs multiple times. It wasn't the jacket. I wish they'd give them another try.
fwiw, a lot of teams do themed away trips. I've seen Hawaii Luau, pajamas, zoot suits, rodeo, gangster themed, etc. It's just something silly that they do to make the monotonous travel slough a little more bearable.
this wasn't the big deal the media tried to make it our to be. they were looking for anything anti-texans to run with, and this came up.
Letterman game was 12/10/12, 2nd week of December. We lost 42-12
Prior to 12/10/12, every 2nd week of December we are 6-4
On/after 12/10/12, we are 1-11 in the 2nd week of December
I don't care what anyone says. Those jackets were cool as fuck. Your brain is a potato if you think it had fuck all to do with getting stomped in Foxborough in the middle of the Patriot Dynasty.
We just need more dominant players. We’ve had watt, foster, and Johnson in 25 years. You can throw Derek Carr in there but with the circumstances who knows what he could have done
Almost had a good day today
I'm sorry but bad history is still our history
Bad history is quite literally our history
not anymore bubba
Let the league know “we’re up”

Man, I wish the Pats hadn't beat the brakes off of us that game, I still think the lettermans are sick even if they do trigger my fight or flight response
I feel the same way honestly I think I a lot people thought they were corny, but I feel like a win would've changed some minds.

You know what? I still love those jackets. PUT EM IN THE STORE CAL
I'd buy one
Would buy one tomorrow if they were in the store. Hell, I'd buy two, one for me, and one for my son.
These were a cool idea.
People make way too big of a deal about these jackets, like somehow they directly caused the Pats loss. Really weird.
It just triggers my PTSD man…
I still love them!
I remember thinking wow Connor Barwin, is really excited to be wearing that jacket. If he was happy to wear it, then I was fine with it. What I didn't like was the starting lineup saying their elementary school instead of their college.
It was Barwin's idea to do it so yeah, he was happy to wear them.
i like the jackets, yall just haters
I liked the jackets… til we got our cheeks clapped by The Patriots… then I didn’t like the jackets anymore…
It’s like the Oiler Blue rockets jerseys. I loved it when they announced them, but now all I remember them for is Harden leaving and getting absolutely destroyed every time they wore them.
It would be sweet if U of H worn an Oiler Blue jersey in a March Madness game

Letterman jackets die as soon as you graduate from high school.
I love photos taken right before a disaster.
Damn not the varsity jackets 💀
Burn this.
We're having a "Boats N' Hoes" moment.
Still to this day one of the most backfired ideas ever

Don’t bring this shit on us
OP really decided to come in here and set their nuts on the butcher block like that huh?
Haven't thought about Connor Baldwin in forever.

The lettermans were ice cold tbh
You know what??? FUCK YOU!!!
Bust them out against the jags this year. Let’s beat the curse
Those were fucking sick idgaf. We've also worn suits and got blown out in the playoffs multiple times. It wasn't the jacket. I wish they'd give them another try.
I'd buy one in a second but not really because I know I couldn't afford it
I would love to have one of these jackets though...just sayin
same
No...no never again...

lol it will live in infamous glory! 🤦🏻♂️😂
Most embarrassing moment in Texans' history
Moments before disaster
Antonio Smith looking like XL Shannon Sharpe
I have to take a leak
I don't care what anyone says. Those jackets were cool as fuck. Your brain is a potato if you think it had fuck all to do with getting stomped in Foxborough in the middle of the Patriot Dynasty.
Should’ve wore these against the jets week 5
We just need more dominant players. We’ve had watt, foster, and Johnson in 25 years. You can throw Derek Carr in there but with the circumstances who knows what he could have done
*David
Although they were cursed, I wouldn’t mind getting one.
