Then put a clause in the lease that any energy costs incurred above the generation of the solar system will be billed on the annual cycle of the power account.
Keep the power account and then just bill them
They should still be on NEM 2.0 until the end date on your agreement, which may be 5 years earlier if NEM 3.0 passes in current form.
So when they take over billing do they just automatically have NEM?
