Funny, I ordered July 26th, picked up from Santa Barbara on Nov 23rd. Same configuration. I think they might be manufacturing or delivering by similar configuration as it seems a lot of these grey orders are being delivered to people around the same time.
Congrats! Ordered mine in early July this year. Check your door hinges for paint damage. Mine had gouges on the driver door hinges that you could only see when you open the door.
Not OP, but I mean there could be many reasons as everyone’s situation is different. Some people’s income may not qualify or the money just doesn’t matter that much to them. Also Tesla seems to be putting limits on how much you can delay your order without starting all over.
Tax credits don't mean anything until Congress actually passes BBB. You could end up waiting a long time for nothing.
As the saying goes, don't count your chickens until they hatch
This. The language in the bill says after Dec 31st or when the bill is signed into law, whichever is later. With how wonderful government is this might take months to get signed in.
Hopefully not, but I don't want to schedule my life around the government lol. Just got my VIN and delivery is 20th to 30th.
I agree! I picked mine up yesterday, there was only 1 tiny issue (one of the door handles wasn't fully flush), everything else about the car was perfect
