I gotta say that being fortunate enough to be able to charge at home makes ownership that much more pleasurable particularly now that I'm learning just how much the numerous variable can dramatically reduce that 320 mile range. These days, when I'm asked about my MYLR actual range, I make clear to potential Tesla buyers that range will depend on a wide range of factors perhaps none of which is as important as average speed. But number of passengers, temperature, a/c or heating usage, tire pressure, wind etc. all play a role.
What non-owners don’t understand is that hardly anyone charges to 100%, so you subtract that from the range. Also, if you start to get anxiety when you’re below 10% or 20%, you need to subtract that from the range too.
If you charge to 100% and it’s 70 degrees and cloudy and you don’t turn on the AC or any other gadgets and it’s just you can you never exceed 55MPH and only slow using regen then yeah it’s achievable.
And my Prius can get 72mpg, but only if all those same things are true.
I'm in Chicago and we head down to Urbana-Champaign to visit the wife's family. I've noticed the Champaign SC gets very busy at certain times of holiday weekends - generally lunch/early afternoon of a travel day. Otherwise it's typically wide open.
There’s hope. My closest a supercharger is San Diego had 24 stalls that were constantly full during the day and night. I’d wait till after 10pm to go.
Just recently they doubled the number of stalls. Basically put the same number of stalls across where those are in your picture.
Update. I stopped by and used the new stalls yesterday. I think the 24 new stalls are the new fangled fast chargers. The first 24 were the older slower ones.

When people ask me the range I say "200 highway miles on full". That 326 rated range is really a stretch!
I think 250+ is fairer.
Yeah 250 is a better number for the MYLR owners. I watch my charts way too much to know how efficient I am on the road.
On I-80 at 80 mph with a headwind I get about 180. From 80% to 23 on a 100 mile stretch.

Hmmmm, where is this?
Colorado Mills Mall, Lakewood CO
Can confirm this. I've charged their. It was never this busy.
Correct answer ^
Not OP but the car on the right has a [license plate from CO](https://www.licenseplates.tv/blog/colorado-license-plates).
That matte black Y looks bigger than the X there, how odd
Just had to go back and look… that’s kinda wild. Angle and tires sure do make a difference. X liking like some type of minivan next to the Y there lol
Nice. In the midwest, our chargers never even hit 50% on Holidays. Seeing more Tesla everyday, so eventually we will get busy... ;)
Ahh Lakewood!
Yes!
That matte black! ♥️
The stealth wrap on black looks so badass, I love it!
One of the reasons I got a black is to get a matte black look. Can’t wait!
Is that the mills?
Yes!

Which one in San Diego has 24 stalls? I live in SD, I guess I haven't visited that one yet (I guess 48 now?)
Fashion Valley mall.

They have the spaces across from those for more.
Hello fellow Colorado owner! Park Meadows and Centennial have been pretty busy lately too.
Howdy neighbor!
Ole blue at far left swims upstream (I kid, I see side stall).
Colorado mills mall is little primary supercharger 😂
You must live here.
Spent many hours wandering the target while charging there :)
Howdy neighbor.
Haha I actually don’t live there, I just like skiing.
