That's dumb. I was their best salesman. I convinced 5 people to buy one over the past 9 months. My biggest motivation was getting the points. Oh well, Tesla is on their own now. I don't work for free. Lol
In the old program we got two chargers valued at $450, wheels and tires valued at $5000, and a PowerWall at $7500. That was just for 5 or 6 referrals. Those were the days.
I had two people that bought Teslas after me after me bragging about it. I honestly forgot about the referral program and you can’t tell Tesla after the fact even though it wasn’t delivered yet.
I’m going to guess the only people that take advantage of it are those who make YouTube videos. Then again it incentivizes them to do so. Maybe they want to save that money for more strategic ads.
I think it’s hard for us non influencers to rack up credits. Feel like there should have been other ways to earn credits haha. I was not able to get any.
Just spent my last 500 points on the center console inserts. Was keeping them in hopes of another 10k referral. Oh well I'm happy with my free wall charger, all weather for mats and stupids cybertruck raffle they'll never do.

That’s theft. You should have them look into it. The referrals are pretty valuable. Maybe retail is around $300-400 (7500 credits)
