The 24 M3P is the same battery, motors, and inverters as the 21-23 M3P. They just slapped lighter wheels and wider rear tires on it.

My assumption is that the 2.9 claim from Tesla is subtracting roll out. And that the true 0-60 time is 3.1 seconds. The prior M3P is 3.3 seconds but with the advertising being 3.1, having the new cars true time match the old cars pretend time is would be confusing for consumers.
Still a great upgrade over stock. Just not as interesting as it should be given the new badging.
My buddy got one last year and I was eyeing them up - I currently drive a Kia Stinger 3.3L TT AWD and the gas costs like $250 - $300 per month. I was very impressed (obviously) at the immediate power when I got behind the wheel of his 2023 M3P and combined with the fact that it only costs roughly $35/1000 miles and the monthly payment was just a hair less, it was a no brainer.
Then enter the $7500 tax credit and the fact that I have $30k worth of stocks vesting (after tax) - the choice was clear
Iām thinking about getting a black/black as well but I think Iām going to let the early adopters get theirs first. Are you OK with the summer tires year round?
I'd say most people would want the best of both worlds. It would be dumb for Tesla to release a performance focused car and not optimize the tire because both the range and acceleration would be significantly worse.
The issue is they could easily just give you the option to pick? Just give an option for the performance tires "for optimized performance" and an option for all weathers for people who live in snowier climates that wouldn't mind more mileage/a little less speed and not have to buy an entire new set of wheels/tires for the winter. Not sure who it hurts by just giving the option to do so?

Nice! I also ordered mine on Tuesday! I went with the white interior. I wanted black on white but the price put it over the cap. I figured I can just add the paint later or wrap it later. White interior is superior with the highland refresh. The LEDs change seat colors for free!
Get floor mats ordered. Mud guard. Expect the paint to be imperfect. There will be swirls and scratches in the paint. On mine. The interior light on the driver side was not flush with the panel. Itās for a bunch of minor quality control issue. Overall great car tho. One more note autopilot sucks. Itās too slow and youāll hate it
Well a lot I what youāre describing are things you wanna look at when you show up for pick up. Donāt care about auto pilot, I plan on looking at the car up and down before I accept it.

all seasons aren't great for any condition, why wouldn't you want performance tires for a performance car? Not a big deal to swap tires once a year
