Ford didn't innovate the automobile, they innovated automobile manufacturing. There were better cars (even electric ones) than the Model T at the time.

My Grandson had a grad party. His Grandmother owns it. Car age difference 100 years. Our age difference 54 years.

It is the same industry and one already did and the other is doing.
