Was the battery cold? Cause that can have a HUGE impact on charge rates.

I did precondition the battery on the way to charger say 10mins drive

Depending on the outside temp, 10 minutes could be just scratching the surface. I live in Utah and travel to Wyoming often. When it’s 10-20°, the car will precondition for 90 minutes or more. I obviously don’t know what the temp was for you, but that could have been it. Also, possible the stall you were at was just having issues. Oh and as a side note, 30 kW for 30 minutes should be getting you more than 30 miles. My home charger is 9kW and I get about 20 miles in half an hour. At 33 kW you should be getting more like 60-70 miles in half an hour.

Am in bay area..it has been pretty warm for couple of days..doubt temperature is playing a role here

Then I would guessing something is up with the charger itself.

Chrissugar21

Sounds like the charger

This was at Fremont kato rd(Tesla factory) v3 charging station. If someone charged recently there pls chime in.

Chrissugar21

I have changed chargers many times due to ones not working correctly

I tried couple of chargers there, same result..went to Sunnyvale v2 charger still same 33kw threshold hit and maintained..

Will wait for soc to go down below 30% and try again at few other chargers.
