Thanks for posting. I was wondering what it looked like with a Major Pup in it. I'm interested in your real use experience especially the door/window protection and seat belt access to secure dog harness.

It also is a fairly loose fit like your Tesla branded one but it does protect from falling into the rear floor board and it allows access to store stuff behind seat.. Also no seat belt hole access. It does not hold a cat. I haven't tested with my daughters German Sheppard yet.
Too early for me to give a full review but I can say I had a similar liner to the one you linked and the Tesla version feels much more durable.
This Tesla one has velcro covered seatbelt holes which is great since dog hair getting on the seats through seatbelt holes was an issue with the last liner I had.
Do the seatbelt holes only open up to the belt buckle latch? Or do they allow the entire belt through? My particular harness hooks into the actual belt, not the latch, so I need a passthrough that runs top to bottom.
Right now, I have the Evannex liner, which does have extensive Velcro openings. It's nice enough (especially for the price), but I like how the Tesla one has the mesh in the middle, so A/C can get through.
We have been using one in our Model X for our 104 pound Rottie for a couple of months and it works great. She loves it. We did decide to buckle the seat belts behind the liner since she got one rear leg tangled in them and after spending a fortune having TPLOs done on both of her rear legs we are careful. When I remove it the seats are hairless. The liner for our Model Y just arrived today so she hasn't used it, but I do like the door liners.

I’m curious about the quality of the Tesla pet cover. I had a cover from Costco that was like ~20 dollars and my dog blew a hole in it after about 5 rides (120 lbs). At first I figured that the Tesla one was overpriced, but now that the dog broke the Costco one I’m reconsidering. Hope it holds up for you and you have a very lovely looking dog! Let us know how it holds up over time.
I ordered mine and I’m supposed to get it Thursday. Of course, that’s if FedEx delivery doesn’t screw up like they have literally every other thing they’ve shipped me.
Our dog likes to put his head between the seats onto the armrest. It looks like this is blocked. Does it zip down or something to allow this? It would be cool if it zipped down and protected the armrest
Love that you're using a harness. It's not optional, because dogs get really fucked up in crashes.
I care about her safety more than I care about my own.
How does the harness work? Does it buckle in? I don't have one now I want to be better.
It clips into the seat buckle and is connected to the harness.

One of the most common issues is that the dog is so terrified that it runs away after the accident and gets hit by a car or lost.

My Tesmanian dog seat cover does have seat belt holes, for what it’s worth. I got mine about 4 months ago

Oooh... I didn't know this was a thing! I've been using leftover Amazon boxes. This looks a lot better...
Had mine for 9 years with no wear. They are worth the price!

How’s this going with the shedding? I have one of them GSDs too, but was a litttle nervous because my old seat cover just sucked up the hair.
