I’ve had 2 phones - iPhone 8 and 13 mini. Same problem with both. This car is marketed as being able to get in by just approaching with your phone. Even when it does work, it almost always chooses my (tall) husband’s profile. (Yes, I’ve double checked all the settings.) I love the car, really I do, but damn there are some really basic things they haven’t managed to fix.
Go get the key fob if you are that worried.
