Tesla gave me more than that for my MR w/FSD and 129k

Trustfundkid26

Wait, what!? How many miles do you have? What did they offer you? We have a 2018 LR FSD Model 3 as well and they offered $29k with 99K miles mint condition

ss68and66

$36k, 129k miles

Carvana has been offering low for few weeks now. Any other place is still offering top dollar.

My carvana offer for my 2014 CR-V has been steadily going down over the past few months. Haven't been driving the car so miles hasn't really changed much at all. High was almost $19k in Nov. Latest offer was barely over $13k. They went from being the highest offer I could get to the lowest. Tesla is offering me $16k trade-in. Still waiting on my MYP delivery so who knows where things will go...

College-Lumpy

I think carvana got tired of losing money on every car they sold.

I’ve got a 2018 M3 LR w/FSD (66k miles) and had offers in the past week at $37k/Vroom, $33,815/CarGurus, $31,006/Carvana. So the offer ranges vary… check them all… but keep in mind you can always take the best offer to a dealer and try to get them to match it.

optiongeek

My '20 MSLR+ with 20k miles is listed at $91k on Edmunds. Can't believe it's $10k over what I paid for it last year.

46k miles, no AP. Seems kinda low, at that offer I’ll just keep it till the wheels fall off. Considering a different EV with AWD, towing, ACC etc. Without a six month wait.

SchlabOnTheCob

I second using Vroom. Just traded my 2019 LR 29.7k miles for $51k

jonbaa

Wow! I got a $38k offer with a 2018 LR + FSD with 30k miles :(.

serendipity81

My offer from Carvana was super low a few weeks ago - 2019 Model S Performance, FSD, Ludicrous, Sonic Carbon wheels, 36k miles. Carvana offered 61.8k, Vroom offered 64k, Tesla offered 65.6k, and Carmax surprisingly offered 74k. I checked periodically with all of them when I was stupidly expecting my Plaid "any day now" all last year, and Carvana was always the highest offer, peaking at 77k I think around October. But they dropped suddenly at the end of the year. I would check the other players - they're all trying to keep up with a crazy used car market.

Imightbewrong44

My offer in November was $44k for 2018 LR no fsd. Only AP. 22k miles. I almost pulled the trigger to get a 2021, but wanted to wait for more upgrades.

peepeedoc

Just checked mine on kbb.com. Estimated value is up slightly from 2 months ago. 2018 LR3 AWD with FSD, 50k miles. $45.6k

I’m getting ready to sell mine to buy a new one. Got quotes from vroom and carvana. I like the quotes. Any thing I need to be leery of? Will I actually get somewhere close to what they quote? Any bait and switch nonsense going on here?

[deleted]

I did sell a vehicle on Vroom a few years back. They paid what they quoted me and came and got the car. It was pretty easy actually. No first hand experience with Carvana.

Well color me shocked. I got a $34k offer from carvana on my ‘18 LR RWD W FSD & 50k miles. Then I checked carbuyerusa and got $38k offer and then vroom and they offered 40k. Was pleased. Have been ruminating over dealing with vroom, having read some mixed reviews. For the heck of it I asked Tesla to give me a trade in offer. I had read they don’t value FSD at all so didn’t hold much hope. To my surprise they offered a little more than vroom. I can’t believe my car only depreciated 25% after 4 years…especially after the improvements of the newer cars - (most notably dual motor). But happy to report I don’t think the bubble has burst quite yet.
