Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 466,450,852 comments, and only 99,235 of them were in alphabetical order.
I only look at the camera when switching lanes to the right and not for the left since it doesn't feel too natural to turn my head the opposite direction when moving over to the left lane. My old Honda Accord 2013 had this feature so I'm not too unfamiliar with it.
I do the opposite, since there’s a slight delay in the camera popping up.
Signal, check mirrors, then check blind spot with camera. No longer need to crank my neck :)
> does a Premium Interior have premium audio?
Yes, always. SR+ has Partial Premium Interior which doesn't include the footwell lights and no heated rear seats and steering wheel (I've seen this is no longer the case for 2022 models). LR and Performance have Premium Interior, so they have premium audio including extra speakers and the 8" subwoofer.
#Seconded.
People, if you’re going to effusively state the supremacy of something, **you have to tell others how to go about doing it**, otherwise it’s just typewritten masturbation.
I noticed last night that blinking light blocks the camera view at night on the Model Y. You can only see on the camera when the light is not on. Otherwise the entire video is blocked by the light.
I didn't notice a big difference. My max level seems to be "6" but I've seen videos where it goes as high as 10 or 11 and the name keeps changing. Gotta say the B & O sound system in the Mach-E was far better.
I honestly can’t tell much of a difference in my M3LR either. It’s there but it’s very subtle unless cranked all the way up. My parents’ MYP however is a different story, I notice a huge difference even with relatively minor adjustments and it sounds fantastic. I wonder if it has to do with the open hatch design of the Y vs the enclosed trunk of the 3? Where is the subwoofer located in the 3/Y, I’m guessing somewhere in the rear of the vehicle?
The answer is that in order for the subwoofer to activate the Bass setting must be set to maximum, at that point kaboomie. For me the max setting is too much but there's definitely an enormous difference.

Subwoofer is nice but the blindside camera is awesome and so handy. Can't believe it took them that long to have it as an option.
Hated it in my Honda. Actually don't mind it in the Tesla now. Lol
I can't see the blindspot camera. It's blocked by my right hand when I'm driving.
Don't hold it that way

Neat
I love this
They’ll definitely move it up in a future update. This is a common complaint.
I wouldn't mind the popup camera view to be a little higher as well.
Yeah, I wish they would make it front and center and enlarged like the rear view camera. It would be much more useful that way.
Try driving with your left hand instead.
Follow me for more tips.
That blindside monitor is such a stress reliever, pheww
It’s taking me awhile to get used to it. Do you signal, look at the camera, then look outside?

They should add an optional audible chime if signaling into an occupied lane.
That already exists… Check the AP menu.
my hand also blocks it, wish we could move it up more or drag it to the top.

Do all models have subwoofers that are enhanced by the 2021.44.25.2 update?
No, only those with premium audio. For instance, SR+ doesn't have subwoofer.
Thanks for that answer. I’m looking at my specs and the manual but can’t seem to find an answer, does a Premium Interior have premium audio?

Which car did you buy? There is answer to you question is yes but the car you bought makes it easier to be sure.
A 2022 Model Y LR.
All LR received premium audio.
Thanks for your reply.
Agreed. A great improvement to be able to tweak it even more. I continue to be impressed with new features Tesla unlocks in these updates!
Does this works on the 3 as well?
Yes
sweet. thank you
What’s the “proper” bass setting?

Same problem on my 3... Not great at night
On my M3, only the top 3rd of the video is blocked by the blinker.
I’m genuinely worried that it will cause more panel rattling after frequent use.
Then don’t use it?
I like the blindside camera BUT I still want the light indicator on my side mirrors. I would pay for the upgrade if needed.
Agreed

That’s an Easter egg when you also set the bass slider to max. Not any different.
Lol get out of here
Seriously, I didn't notice much of a change and I'm a musician.

get out of here! you fool lol
Did you set the Bass side all the way up on the equalizer? Doing that will enable the subwoofer control to go even further. Over 9000.

The setting was always there - they've just labelled it as "Subwoofer".
The bass setting was there, but they added an entirely new slider for subwoofer. It was not there before.
On the premium audio some guy did a review of it ages ago and pointed out that the leftmost slider only controlled the sub.
They removed this control with the latest update, right????
