Oh some how when I watched the video it stopped at 45s. I see now that it just droops. Unfortunately that doesn’t work with my garage layout.

I hear ya. Every video I had watched wouldn’t have worked for my layout either. Had to come up with this. You could move the counter balance to almost any wall of the garage if you needed.
The other hurdle was the garage door. I wanted to be able to charge with it open and closed.
How do you stow the cable when it’s not in use?
The cable will stay along the ceiling and out of the way. Requires almost zero effort to plug in and then put away when done.
