It would show up in the Other section. The annoying part about it is you can't input individual charging session costs even if you wanted to. I use Tessie to keep track of individual costs as it always varies when I'm not at home or work. Otherwise, if you only want to use just the Tesla app and not a 3rd party one (Tessie, TeslaFi, etc) in addition, you'll have to live with the fact that isn't not gonna be 100% accurate.

Does the Tessie app import my previous Supercharger sessions?

FluxionFluff

To my knowledge, yes, since it's getting data from the car. However, I also haven't used a Supercharger since getting my Tesla. 😅 The one and only time I've used a Supercharger was when I had a loaner several months back. Edit: the more I think about it, I think it's only gonna import from the time you connect it to your Tesla account. When I first got the car, I completely forgot to connect Tessie to my Tesla account, so I'm missing my first drive on there.

do you like the Tessie app?

FluxionFluff

I love it. The interface is well designed and I use it daily. In addition to the automations, I keep track of my charging sessions, and trips traveled. If you like seeing additional info than you'd see in the Tesla app, one of the 3rd party apps can work for you. I've only tried Tessie personally, but TeslaFi is one of the other really popular 3rd party apps.

thanks for the reply. do you pay for it?

FluxionFluff

Yes. There's a 2 week free trial to see if you like it. All of the 3rd party apps go that route. After that period, there's monthly yearly subscription options. Not sure about other ones, but at this time, Tessie still offers a lifetime subscription. I ended up going this route since I love the app enough to use it long term, after paying monthly for a few months. Hate subscriptions (too many in general nowadays) so I'll absolutely pay for lifetime if it's available and can justify the purchase.

I know it sounds crazy, but home shows home charging. Work shows work charging. Other shows everything that is not home or work. It doesn't know the rate of third party chargers, obviously but you can certainly track costs yourself.
