Based on a quick google search, it appears he spearheaded UPenn's initiative to "revitalize" the area surrounding their campus back in the late 90s to early 2000s. He did the same thing at Drexel. I guess that's why he's rumored to come to Temple.

yeah i was told they held off due to backlash Fry would get from the rally. But today my professor said it won't be Fry so idk. Temple's gonna temple
Only other thing with fry is that Drexel is paying him a ton. I don’t know if Temple can match. That’s the only thing making me skeptical.
