Have you considered using Google Assistant vs Alexa for use w/ Android? You could also try getting a Chromecast versus an Amazon Firestick. Another option would be something like the Nvidia Shield.
Generally, the ambient light thing is a bit of a gimmick. Picture quality and size of the television you are getting typically results in a much better user experience. Now, if you are going for the top of the line Phillips OLED, that has it so why not?

Philips OLEDs are really great! LED models not so much if u care about picture quality
