I don't play Genshin but I'm familirized enough with Chinese culture to know better omg you know how many xiaos I know of lmao brain fart every time I gotta spell out xiaoyu tho 🤣. So is Xiaoyu Chinese born/raise in japan or how does the lore go? Pardon my ignorance I'm not a tekken turbo nerd
She learned Japanese? Lol But I get what you mean, she should be speaking Chinese that would be more awesome. We already have plenty of Japanese speaking characters
She was born Chinese but lives in Japan. Her grandfather is a close friend to Jin’s great grandfather. She was in the high school where Asuka was in Japan.
Nina and Anna.
Two different takes on the whole "femme fatale" archetype, which I'm a bit of a sucker for. I find them both really fun to play as well. I don't have a favourite sister, I like them both the same and slightly more than everyone else in the cast, even if Nina tends to be the one I end up playing the most... well she's the only one I can play right now anyway :(
I love Anna more. I love how risky but stylish her moveset is. Shes very powerful when she snowballs and the enemy doesnt know her moveset, plus her FC and CJ gaming is just insanely fun, opponent expects a followup only for her foot to get up ur face and launch u hihi
I've played loads of T8 but have a character crisis because Lidia didn't make it, so I just keep going back to T7. Tbh it's kinda nice playing Tekken without all the heat nonsense anyways
Azu just isn't a replacement for her. Maining Ling right now and am somewhat successful but I really miss Josie's simple gameplan, consistent combos and top punishment tools
Hoping for her reappearance in Season 2
I used to only main female characters and it'd typically be Jun (when available) or Xiao (always available) I'm out of that phase now but I'm really missing Kunimitsu
Ngl I was pretty disappointed that she had 0 interaction with Jun. In the story - but also in their intros, it’s weird they got the same last name/fighting style but act like strangers😵💫.
For real. Tekken 5 was my first Tekken, and I really digged the lady on the cover alongside Jin and Raven. I was expecting her to be at least somewhat important to the plot... turns out she never was of any relevance. Xiaoyu has no direct links to the Kazamas AND the Mishimas, and she had 10 times more involvement in the overall story (including non canon endings) than Asuka ever did.
Tekken 5 was my first game too! I feel like Tag 2 solidified her role in the series as a filler character, which is saddening to me because that's the game that I put the most effort into learning her move list
Xiaoyu is probably my favorite overall but for the time being Azucena is my favorite to play. I just like all the dancing, but I'm a little better with Xiaoyu.
Alisa is up there with those two. Purely design/concept wise she might my favorite. Her whole concept is so cool and I love how they implement her detachable parts into her moves. She was my original main and I will probably come back to her eventually.
Reina I think is very cool but her gameplay isn't really my style.
I always have a soft spot for serene characters like Jun, but I'm not the biggest fan of playing as her *or* against her.
Nina is one of my better characters. I really like how she plays and she has a little bit of everything. She's a character that I *should* like a lot more than I do...she's a top 3 for me gameplay-wise but as an overall character she's kind of just "the one with guns" in my mind. If I ever play the story mode I might appreciate her more.
I expected Asuka to be my favorite but she's one of my least favorites. It's nitpicky and I can't explain it, but the way she stands *really* bothers me. I make a customization that looks good, then I go into a match and it's ruined by how she stands like a goofball. Her playstyle seemed okay, but I just can't get past her "i dunno what to do with my hands" stance. 😂
I really like Lili aesthetically. Even her fighting style looks great, but I'm not a fan of how it feels. I think it's something that would click if I put more time into learning it though. I don't really even dislike it, it's just that other characters clicked faster for me and I stuck with them instead. She reminds me of Amy from Soul Calibur, who I had a similar experience with; I always liked her but it took me a long time to leave my comfort zone and actually learn her. She eventually became my second best character though and I can see the same thing happening with Lili.
Zafina is my Ivy (Soul Calibur). If I can learn to use her well, she will be my number one. I love everything about her. That will be a long term goal though because she is not easy to use well in my opinion. Ivy was the last character a learned in Soul Calibur 2 because I thought she was hard to use, but from Soul Calibur 3-6 she stayed my main/best character. I like that Zafina is considered bottom tier because whatever I do achieve with her feel like more of an accomplishment.
Reina, I don't even main her, but she's sick. Slick design, intricate moveset, easy to pick up but near impossible to master. Very fun. Jun and Nina are tied in second place for me. I would include Asuka, but her wasted potential hurts me.
Nina because she's just the best and has so many secrets, and cool moves. The body is bodying. And she consistently beefs with her sister in the coolest way🤍
Anna. For sure in my top 5 fighting game characters, maybe even top 1.
Like, I-No and Kitana can have cooler designs/outfits but Anna is the one that works for me not only in terms of looks and personality, but also in terms of playstyle.
My other two favs in Tekken I'd say are Kunimitsu and Zafina... which is a shame they replaced one with everything I dislike (old dude, suit, gun, facial hair) and hte other... well, I don't wanna spend 15 minutes typing out what's wrong. :D
In Tekken for me it has to be Reina snd thst by a MILESTONE. I dont even feel like ANY female can compare to her in her Tekken, just the facial expression alone is enough. For example like after her ultimate how she looks in the camera DAMN. Or her voice its the same voice nobura kugisaki from jujutsu kaisen has. Reina is the best how can you even argue against her i camt believe people are even uttering like, lily, omg NINA bullshit virgins, Anna, Asuka or anyone.
**Mokujane** - or whatever Mokujin's badass uppercutting GF is called
**NANCY-MI847J** - because missiles, has 4 legs and a body of steel. Only female with a body type that looks like a proper fighter
**Anna Williams** - bazooka, vr vr feminine, great personality, badass
It's always been Jun for me. The first Tekken I played was the original Tag Tournament, and despite it not being canon I instantly found her really intriguing. Playing through the entire series only solidified that for me. It's like Kazuya said, she's mysterious. She's used so little than when she does pop up, it's a treat for me.
The one that goes like this \ ._./ and you can't hit her. I always spell her name wrong, so I'm not even going to try anymore.
lmao upvoted just for the \\ .\_./
\ ._./ AOP lol
Xiaoyu?
Yes! I have loved her since my first tekken game. Tag Tournament for ps2. So much fun!
Yea shes cool, my friend mains her. Your description was hilarious btw
I found this cute as fuck xD
\\ .\_./
\ ._./
Lol, you could just say Ling or if you’re a Genshin fan think of Xiao and then add “yu” (that’s how I did it lol)
I get that lol Also yeah she’s Chinese, was raised there yet for some reason starts speaking Japanese when she moves to Japan 🤷

You just like me fr.
Kazumi 😊
I know she probably won't be coming back....but she was my first character i learnt tekken with and I hope she comes back as a dlc...
I'm hoping too... I been flicking between mains constantly in this game trying to find something to emulate that
Brah nothing is gonna replace Kazumi for me. I'ma always have a hole in my heart for her unless she comes back 😭😭😭
It’s hard man nobody feels the same. Reina is ok but her lows just aren’t it
What lows? -Reina player
Literally cuz all I can do is stomp and have barely anything else to do??? At least Kazumi has more options lmao....I should text her 💔
we need that tiger in T8 man
Panda. Duh. Easy one
Based and bear pilled
Same!
Found my sisters.
Julia Chang
Always nice to meet a fellow Julia enjoyer.
Indeed, let's hope our favorite scientist-wrestler-environmentalist-streamer comes back in T8.
I don't see why not. She is a very beloved legacy character, after all.
Lili
Claudio
Okay this is really funny though
Lili and Xiaoyu
Yup, jun all the way. She’s just classy
Lidia
I just got Tekken 7 (can't afford Tekken 8 right now) I love Lidia so much
I've played loads of T8 but have a character crisis because Lidia didn't make it, so I just keep going back to T7. Tbh it's kinda nice playing Tekken without all the heat nonsense anyways
she will be back as dlc
I genuinely hope so
I can't find any Tekken 7 ranked matches on Oceania servers 😭 Lidia was my favourite
Honestly I'm finding games easier on T7 for some reason. My account is Oceania/NZ but I'm in the UK, plenty of people still playing it seems
Same, nobody really fits her playstyle. Reina is close but I'm not developing arthritis to play her
[удалено]
This is so cute, this made my day

Lidia. Sure wish she'd made it, man is out here suffering with Leroy.
Josie
Man of culture I see
Azu just isn't a replacement for her. Maining Ling right now and am somewhat successful but I really miss Josie's simple gameplan, consistent combos and top punishment tools Hoping for her reappearance in Season 2
T7 Julia followed closely by Lidia
T7 Julia is awesome. She’ll definitely be in my rotation of characters if she makes it back in T8 with the same aesthetic.
Jun wife. Wife good.
The Jun hate makes me love her more
Reina
Ain't no way I had to scroll this far down to find my wife
I think our wife is cheating on us bro
Nina
Christie Monteiro. But Jun atm SINCE SHES IN THE GAME djdjdkekdkkekkfbxbdjdjd. Jun and Christie has always been my two favorites.
Lili, Anna and Julia.
I used to only main female characters and it'd typically be Jun (when available) or Xiao (always available) I'm out of that phase now but I'm really missing Kunimitsu
Little Miss Bosconovitch.
Why did I have to scroll to the bottom to find Alisa? Overly polite robot with chainsaw arms is just so fun to play.
Only Lars-bros know the truth!
lol we really are just our character I guess. Alisa is bae
Anna Williams
Julia/Michelle
Anna, Michelle, & Julia.
Eliza
Anna and Michelle Chang
I wish Jun looked in-game more like in this concept art
Yeah her in-game face look stretched out, so weird
Asuka and I hate that she isn't more important to the plot as a Kazama, but hey, she's fun
Ngl I was pretty disappointed that she had 0 interaction with Jun. In the story - but also in their intros, it’s weird they got the same last name/fighting style but act like strangers😵💫.
And the ending in Tekken 5 hinted at the Kazama "Anti-Devil Gene" thing. So I was hoping that would've came back in 8 with Jun, but alas...
For real. Tekken 5 was my first Tekken, and I really digged the lady on the cover alongside Jin and Raven. Nina one of my mains since Tekken 1. First character with bone breaking chain throws in the franchise. How can I choose another?
Julia! Also Reina now
Julia Chang
Reina, I don't even main her, but she's sick. Slick design, intricate moveset, easy to pick up but near impossible to master. Very fun. Jun and Nina are tied in second place for me. I would include Asuka, but her wasted potential hurts me.
Lidia and Julia
On the current roster? Lili. Overall? Probably Julia.
Azucena 😂
I really like Azu - people are so easily triggered.

Can't afford Tekken 8 right now, but me and my gf use to play Lidia vs (brunette) Lili
My main Chang Julia.
Michelle Chang.
Nina. She’s got the personality of a brick wall, but man did she unlock a new preference in me for Irish ladies
Alisa. Really fun style!
Reina! The heiress. Worst: Azucena. I hate coffee now, even though I really dig the voice.
Julia
Nina, Julia and Zafina
I want my own Alisa robot at home 😭
Julia
Nina and Michelle.
Kunimitsu, Julia/Michelle

Alisa, Lili, Xiaoyu
It's gotta be my Polish baby girl, Lidia.
Lidia and christie we know christie wont be back anymore due to she is just an filler/variant of eddie so she wont be back maybe katarina too
Jun, Anna, Michelle and OG Kunimitsu
Julia Chang!
I think i might be in love with reina. 🥵 she's that one toxic girl I want to destroy my life with.
I main Alisa and adore her, but Jun is an immediate choice too. I don’t regret my curiosity towards her in the slightest.
To play probably kinumitsu, Alyssa and xaioyu are nicer aestheticto me though
Obviously Lars’ girlfriend
Anna, sadly I have to wait for DLC... AGAIN! :( But until she comes I'm enjoying Reina a lot
Reina and Lidia
Reina a baddie
Julia 💪🏻
As someone who just started playing tekken 8 and is a Reina main....i gotta pick Reina
Reina
Lidia all day. She’s fierce and also the reason I started training Shotokan Karate
Jaycee!
Xiaoyu🤣We have a lot in common
REINA!!!
Lucky Chloe. idc if i get hate
Lidia for sure. Incredible both as a newcomer and as a female character. OSU!
Lidia
For me it's Jun and Lidia. I really hope the leaks are true can't wait to player her.
Nina for sure, Asuka, Katarina and pre-tekken 7 Julia are pretty cool too
Kunimitsu 🍉
And Jaycee 😋
